I was thinking about the Kelvin Admiral uniform, but even 80% off 1200 zen seems a little steep.

So glad I read this. Wasn't prepared to get the vizier sovereign-reboot, simply because of the outrageous price. But now...HELL YEAH.

Why is it so expensive normally? Is it because it's modeled after the Enterprise-E? The console, stats and traits don't seem all that special to me but I am probably missing something. Is this a really powerful ship compared to other T6?

I think it's so expensive because it can be used by any character you have...klingon or fed

You're not supposed to pay the regular price. The point is that Mudd is a con artist, and will rip you off if he gets the chance, but frequently puts things on sale to "clear inventory", so to speak. So, you don't buy /anything/ from Mudd's Market unless it's on sale. Just means people need to be paying attention and being patient.

Right, I get that. I got the impression that this ship was highly desired and very popular and wasn't sure why (regardless of the cost).

Initially it was only available through a limited time promotion event. That's why it was considered a rare item to have.
