Hi folks.
Was watching some Voyager earlier, and suddenly felt the urge to take the Intrepid out for a spin. However, I'm at something of a loss as how to build this thing.
It has the Lt Universal, and a Lt Tac, with no option for Lt Comm Tac... which limits its offensive options. It has the Lt Comm Sci/Pilot seat, and a Comm Sci/Miracle Worker and a Lt Sci.
However, if I want to use MW or Pilot skills I'm taking away from the Science options and with only two tactical console slots I can hardly make good use of MW abilities like Mixed Armament Syngergies or Exceed Rated limits.
Thoughts? It's got an odd layout and unsure how to go about it. I get the pilot seating because of Tom Paris, but there's little there that makes sense for this type of vessel.
Edit: I should clarify, that I tend to go with "canon" builds for my ships. So that means phaser arrays and photon torpedoes. Do I try to make something somewhat optimal, or just random but thematic stuff from the show? Suggestions would be most welcome .

I didn't buy the legendary bundle so take it with a grain of salt, but the legendary Intrepid was an odd one to me. It lacks the tac seating to be strong weapons build, and since it is a MW boat and not Temporal it isn't really optimal for an exotic build either. I think the intention was to play it up as a sci tank (to fit the "warship Voyager" theme that came with it), so probably as far as offensive abilities just slot the best you can, accept that you aren't going to be a dps beast but won't wilt like a glass cannon either necessarily, and just have fun with it.
