Picard Ratings
I've seen this mentioned in a couple of places, but I'm not entirely sure if there's any truth to it - the article mentions that Sir Patrick is reluctant to come back again, but I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere. If it is true, then we could well see Picard as being the first of the new Trek series to fall.

If this is true it basically mirrors my own experience with the show. I had been overseas for about 6 months by the time it premiered, and one of the only things I had to do for entertainment at home was watching low quality streams of western shows online to pass the time. Even I passed on it rather quickly and just went back to re-watching TNG and the like. If Sir Patrick is on board with the show I think it will go through to another season since im sure he along with some of the other names involved have enough social capital to make it happen. If he isn't than we may see a failure of the show. ofcourse this is all relatively uniformed opinion from someone who never saw how the season ended, so I mean how easy it will be to transition the story to another season is beyond me.

It just didn't seem like Star Trek, aside from some token set peices, and cameos. It also went back on so much of established lore, the world is supposed to be a utopia, but in Picard, there are so many bad things that return to humanity. Yeah, DS9 showed the dark side, but even in the episode "Paradise Lost", it showed that the people on Earth didn't want to return to the old way of life, they enjoyed a post scarcity world.

I saw that report claiming Stewart was unhappy and I have to wonder about that. In addition to being the star, he is also an executive producer of the show, and reportedly was resistant to revisiting the titular character until he heard the pitch. I find it implausible that he doesn't have enough creative influence to squash the death idea if he wasn't aware of it during the pitch in the first place.

Personally, I enjoyed Picard. So I'd be pretty bummed out if it did end early, however I can see why people may not have liked it.
This is pretty bad news for the show though, I'm hoping for the second season they find a better footing. A bit more hope and a bit less darkness.

Honestly I'm not so shocked tbh i watched some of the episodes and my honest opinion all this has done is made Picard look like glorified show pony the execution has been horrible which is a shame because the premise had merit

Consider the source.
I know Nerdrotic has put out a video & I'm a little suspect on this. Number one CBS doesn't release viewership numbers for All Access. So there's no way to be absolutely sure if this is true or not. Number two Nerdrotic, Midnights Edge, and Doomcock (Full Disclosure I do subscribe to Doomcock on YouTube) regularly trash Star Trek under Kurtzman.
While I feel that Doomcock has been right about some things regarding new Trek. I do not agree with everything he says regarding our beloved franchise. Thus I'm going to take these reports with a grain of salt. Season Two of Picard has been announced and it has been reported that we will see more of Starfleet in it. It's also been reported that the tone of the show will not be as dark as season one. Also any interview that I have seen with Sir Patrick does not lead me to believe that he is unhappy with the show. If anything he is itching to get back to work on it.
No first season of any Star Trek series has been amazing. ST: Picard had probably one of the better first seasons and it wasn't without its flaws. I'm looking forward to Season 2 and where it takes us.
Just my two cents.

I'm dubious about this info, as JBYB04 said, CBS doesn't release all access viewership numbers, I was lukewarm to Picard but I'm giving it a chance since most trek shows are notorious for having slow starts, until other news sites report on this I'm taking this with the whole freaking Salt Mine.

I would not surprised if that is true, the show turned a hero a figurehead demonstrating the best qualities of humanity into a joke.
For the record I don't need to be remembered how crap Earth is right now, I rather have my faith restored that one day we will learn to overcome what divides us today in a beautiful peaceful future.

Those graphs don’t really prove very much.
Older shows are guaranteed to have more consistent long term assurances in search results because there are probably more people overall looking for them, even though they are not currently airing. They have large already established fan groups and pop culture following so will always be airing in Google searches etc.
The newer shows have an expected spike when they first appear and then drop off as is expected. Nearly all current shows will follow similar patterns until they become a constant part of pop culture. Add to the fact that many people can’t just watch them any time they want due to limited streaming access.
As for videos posted by certain “fans”; I take them with a serious sack of salt as they have one agenda only - to drive outrage to get clicks for profit. They are literally farming anger to profit from it so I don’t believe much of what they say. They’ve been consistently wrong with claims for many years now.
If people don’t like the new shows fine; just no need to constantly try and post “evidence of failure”. Some people who claim to be Trek fans seem to want the IP to fail; how dire that make any sense?

It just didn't seem like Star Trek, aside from some token set peices, and cameos. In a Star Trek show, there's very little I want, but what I do want is Starfleet ships, and Picard really lacked that.
I think that sums my view up as well. I want to see Starfleet, I want to see their shiny new ship warping around in all its detail. Picard didn't give us that and while I wouldn't write the series off entirely, it's not what was expected and was too much of a slow burner for my tastes. I don't mind things being hinted at or teased, but don't then drag things out for an eternity while we're sitting here waiting for the payout.
For all it's temporal cold war nonsense, Enterprise did show that in the far flung future, life was still good and relatively safe, the Federation had weathered the storms and was still doing its thing (and I think Enterprise did finally hit the mark in Season 4 with what it was aiming for but the damage was already done by this point) but to touch on Discovery - Season 1 was a tad slow, Season 2 threw in some familiar faces and excellent set pieces towards the end, as you can't not be impressed at the Enterprise squaring off against those odds and more than holding ground but Season 3 is approaching and it's looking like things are going to be turned on their head in ways Picard wouldn't have even dared to try. I'll reserve a verdict until I've seen it, but as I said elsewhere, Strange New Worlds is looking like the strongest hand they've got and may well be the show that finally gets the TV franchise back to its best.

I'd be cautious in overinterpreting this. We don't know the context for the searches, so people could just be looking for memes or whatnot. The newer Treks are also always behind various paywalls, which is different than the older series, and in the US it is behind the smaller, niche CBS All Access paywall rather than the more popular and common ones like Netflix and Amazon Prime. That makes Trek now less accessible than it was in the TOS thru Ent shows, Stargate Atlantis, or the first few seasons of The Orville

It is also not necessary to know what they looked for, it's the number of searches for that topic.

But the way people search does matter. Many are referring to the show as simply "Picard" rather than the formal "Star Trek: Picard" title or its variants. Looking at this search term in comparison to the others you used, the term "Picard" dwarfs the rest and the first result returned is the show. Unfortunately we have no way to disentangle what subset relates to the current TV show vs. searches related to TNG or other stuff, thus my suggestion to use some caution in overrelying on this as evidence that the show is a trainwreck or not.
