    Gotta admit, if i had to choose just one character from "back in the day" Trek i'd want to return then it would be no other than Q!
    John deLancy is also probably the only actor i can think of that would be able to be an NearOmnipotent and AlmostOmniscient being that convincingly without it being the poster boy for the god complex or the embodyment of why a human isn't an omni!

    but to be honest.....

    i still think Sisko's way of dealing with Q was the best of them all!

    I don't watch Picard, I didn't get into it, not the right style of show for me, and all that. What I will say though is that I hope they aren't going to put Q in as a main character, he is a character best suited for the occasional episode.

    For me, Picard was by far the weakest ST show to come to our screens in recent years. I was bitterly disappointed in what initially promised to be something amazing. I did make it all the way through the season but it didn't leave me wanting more. All that being said, I will still watch Season 2 because, well, Star Trek.

    Let's face it - Q never came back to DS9 after Sisko "dealt" with him! So I completely agree.

    Picard's S1 pacing was bad, slow and awkward.

    Like right, she knows nothing about the guy she's banging on the regular. Picard himself is actually doing things, can we stop jumping back to her and wasting airtime? Deleted. Move the heck on.

    S1 of TNG was kind of awkward as well, looking forward to seeing how S2 fares.
