Event Campaign — Part III (3 of 5):
The Defense of Pahvo Event:
• This Featured Event is the third of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the third installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign.
• This Event will include multiple TFOs previously featured individually in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their preferred trial each day.

○ The event versions of “Pahvo Dissension” and “Peril Over Pahvo” can be accessed via the new Event UI, accessible within your Mission Journal by pressing on the “Events” Tab.

• Participating in this Event will give all players the opportunity to win Universal Console – Crystal Prism for their entire account!

Pahvo Dissension and Peril Over Pahvo TFO Updates:
• Each completion will reward a Choice of All Marks (replacing the usual Mark rewards)
• Both TFOs have had their Cooldown Timers temporarily disabled
• Both TFOs have been temporarily removed from Random TFO eligibility

Rewards:
• Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours.
• Accruing a total of 14 days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim all of these rewards:

○ Universal Console – Crystal Prism (Account-Wide Reward)
○ 25,000 Dilithium Ore (once only).
○ 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (once only).

+ Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade.

Bonus Rewards:
• After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, and increasing for subsequent days.

Zen Buyout Option:
• For players interested in instantly completing the To Hell with Honor Event event, we will be offering the option to purchase the remaining progress of this event at a scaling amount of Zen, as with other recent events.

A Second Chance:
• Progress after the Event has ended will remain in an all new Second Chance interface, allowing the option to buyout rewards long after the Event has expired.

General:
• Added additional optimizations to improve performance when various UI menus are open.
• Added additional backend optimizations on all social zones in a continued effort to improve performance and stability.
• Added filter options to Friends list.
• Resolved an issue that was causing an incorrect icon to display for the "Pilfered Power" Trait Unlock item.

Known Issues:
• The “Console – Universal – Crystal Prism” incorrectly states that it can be boosted by Crystal Prisms created by teammates.

I hate everything about this 3rd part of the event. Well, except the reward. I like the crystals. But anything related to the Mycelial Realm? They can keep it. Also, PUG Event TFOs? Hateful.

Events have been utter grind fests, I'm not wasting my time doing them, sure I'd like a promo ship but I'm pretty tempted to just skip the next 2.

What's not to love? Run around on the ground waiting on a bunch of timegates while you shoot evil shroom-loving new age hippies from the mirror universe, or fly above the planet waiting on timegates while you shoot a bunch of <Insert Random Species Here> groups? Besides just about everything of course?

I'm a little on the fence about the crystals too personally. I missed out on the ground version's event, but looking at the numbers I'm not sure it is worth giving up a different console to add this to any of my builds. Guess we'll see though.

I think this one is mostly just about the grind to get closer to that event campaign grand prize for me. Probably will fall short of finishing the grand prize this round, but barring any surprises I should be able to get close and wrap it up on the next round.

It's my guess that this is the reason A LOT of people will do this Event run. "Just give me my damned Promo ship, already! AAAAAUUGH!"

It's the only reason I still even have STO installed. I barely touch it these days and I've ignored the other recent events. It'll not finish for me this time around but I should have it finished before the 4th one ends. Call me stubborn, but purely for the fact it's a promo ship up for grabs and given what I've spent on the game over the years, getting a freebie ship is a matter of principle for me.

Most favourite not mentioned change unskippable cutscenes.

A lot of the previously skippable ones are still skippable, but instead of immediately stopping when you hit Esc, you have to hold it and an icon appears in the top right corner. When the donut graph around the icon fills all the way, the cutscene stops. Not sure who thought this was a brilliant idea though to timegate us for saying "skip".
