Winter Ship the Eisenburg Starcruiser

Out of all the 32c ships, the Eisenberg isn't the worst looking of them, and kudos to Cryptic for following through with not gamble boxing the tribute ship to the late actor. Sounds like they are looking for a non-mudd's post event method to pick it up later too, which is nice as long as they follow through with that.

As for the Saturn, it looks like someone at CBS decided grandma's embroidery hoop would make a good spaceship. I'll pass.

I was iffy on the design when I first saw it in the show but seeing it in game I actually quite like it.

It doesn't mean I'll get one, I'm just saying the name fits the design.

As for the Eisenberg? Yeah, I'll get it. But that has more to do with it being the QWW Event reward than the it has to do with the ship itself. It could be a shuttlecraft that my toon can't fly and I would still get it.

I do have a question: What is that console in all of the SCI slots? Do I need them in my Carrier?

Eisenberg to me just looks like a giant flying phaser. And as a Sci main, that console looks interesting to me as well.

The Saturn just looks like 32nd Century version of the existing Scryer Intel ship.

Like in a very slim way, it's good they're releasing this there as if you don't want it, you can get something else.

But why not release the Xena's wheel of ships on the zen store.

Because Xena was played by an Australian and you know how much they hate their international fanbase with the competitions they run =P

The winter ship is quite nice looking, at least what I can see from the pictures.
But it's another engineering heavy ship that I have little interest in actually flying though; the stats just don't appeal to me at all.

And nice to see the U.S.S Ring-pull being added to the game as well.

I'm getting the winter ship anyway, if only that I've started collecting Traits I'll never use for the bragging rights. That and if enough people get it, maybe we get more memorial ships in the future.

All down to the money at the end of the day. They've admitted more than once that the boxes/promos are where the profits are. If the Eisenberg wasn't a memorial design and just one of the other background ships, you could probably stake your reputation that it would have got the box treatment as well.

I don't see why they couldn't still have subscriptions for those who want them. That would be a decent way to bring in cash, as long as they keep making content and keep the game fresh to a degree.
