So wow this update is....woefully disappointing.
End boss of the new content is broken.
Lots of other bugs.
Some people can't even get into the game.
Story content is too short.

Can pretty much sum up the update as this:

What players wanted:
More story.

What players got:
Combat Styles which weren't really necessary
New UI update: Not really necessary
Gearing changes: Not really necessary
Story: Too short (About 2 hours worth play time with a total of about 45 minutes of cutscenes between the two new planets)
And bugs. Lots of bugs.

Oh and the Darth Malgus server has been having some issues too...which is rather ironic considering he's the main villian.

It is buggy log in time was long last night after having to reload due to well the bugs, been doing the alliance PVP grind today and that seems to be dropping more and better rewards than I have ever seen from it when I have done it in the past, combat styles I ain't even looked at the 2nd option yet i did find last night even with a mix of 280/306 that the Chapter 4 Mission - Where dreams die (Defeat the Purifier Droids) was impossible to do kept getting my backside kicked.

Yeah for me it took off and on 2 hours or so to get into the game last night and when I did the server was so laggy and bad it was stuttering just walking around my ship with nobody else on it. The load times to get in seem to be better today a bit but looking at the known issues thread on the forum, not only is it a looooong list but some of those bugs I'm seeing are just like "I would have fixed that before I launched this update." kind. They delayed it for two month, I'm pretty sure it would have been better to delay it again.

Even again the lack of story would have brought it down regardless. This has more of a Large Update feel to it than an Expansion. Credit to the devs as I'm sure it was a lot of work to change the UI and get the combat styles working but the lack of at least 5-6 hours of story content kinda drags all that down.

The combat styles are good, I also kinda like the new UI stuff too but I wouldn't necessarily say they were updates that were "needed" for the game, same with the changes to gearing too. I think if they polled the playerbase most of us would say forget those and just give us a lot more story content instead and maybe some PVP, flashpoints instead.

Just loaded up onto my older toons and i have on 2 so far boxes for 312 and 318 gear no idea why both as when open them they both give a full set of gear and items at respected irates

Must be only on toons that have completed the story to the end as on others they do not have them that said they are bound to legacy so i have 2 full 312 sets i can drop in and put on others now also.
