Friday evening with a full group was tonight. We want also to welcome Mentioned User Medri to our weekly events!

We ran Iuppiter Iratus for the daily, and then we cleared the skies from some Borg going after us. We decided to give another another try on Nukara Self Destructive Tendencies, and this time was successful (although we did it in advanced).

AFTER ACTION REPORT
This one was short and sweet. We did the daily event, exterminated some oversized creepy crawlers, and parsed a few ISEs. Our first ISE ended prematurely by 2 seconds. Errrrr... But our second ISE went much better.

Today was the day of the Agony Redistributor console, there were some crazy dps numbers (that will soon be wiped) and we ran a record number of ISE's as a result. A thanks to everyone that came tonight!

We started by killing the giant snowflake for the universal, and continued with a couple of Borg runs for the event campaign. Went to an uncharted planet and found some big bugs over there, before we face some Klingons who were attacking one of our starbases.

It's been the first Build Discussion in a very long time. The first two topics this time have been brought up by Sunfire and WhiteMountain65.

Sunfire wanted to know how to quickly jump into combat in an ISA/ISE since many people are able to rush into combat and destroy the target before he had the time to do so.

The solution to this problem is the following: On a ship with EPtE and EPtW you can activate EPtE 17 seconds before the combat starts, this allows EPtW to be ready and you still have the buff from EPtE and shortly before the timer comes to an end you want to use Evasive Maneuvers.

Furthermore about three to four seconds before the combat starts you should activate your firing abilities this in combination with the Prevailing Innervated Impulse Engines will give you another huge bonus when charging in.

Another very useful asset is also the Deuterium Surplus Device if your other Speed Boosts are currently unavailable.
You can craft them after finishing the Mission Skirmish.

The next topic was brought up by WhiteMountain65in the creation of a ship that is both capable to be used as a Torpedo Boat and as an EPG Boat and of course as a
Hybrid. Since both expensive Lockbox and Promo Ships were not an option we chose the Terran Trailblazer. Going into details about the build would be too much for this report but stay tuned for some upcoming build posts.
