The level boost is absolutely pointless and it just screams cash grab. You could easily get those 5 levels without even moving just by running a set of admiralty missions.

On the plus side, the ship itself looks nice.

On the Pro side the Ship Layout is good, and we finaly get Polaron Quad Cannons on the Con side the new trait is garbage and the Level 60 to 65 token is a joke.

The token would have been better suited as a token for any toon no matter of type or faction then it would become more useful and the trait would have been better as an extend abilities trait rather than a CD reduction. I will at some point be getting it as i want the bug trait for some builds and account-wide unlock means it's something that is viable to me.

I suspect 8-10k zen for it the normal captain packs go for 12k so would be surprised if it was any lower than that

I'm hoping it will be towards the lower end. A 5-level boost is a far cry from a 65-level boost, and otherwise the bloat they mentioned doesn't seem as extravagant as some of the other bundles, particularly since the Weyoun and polearm are not going to be reclaimable bloat.

The new trait is interesting, particularly since it makes the revamped Surgical Strikes power even more interesting to build around, and makes the CRF time extender trait more accessible too for those that didn't splurge on the Mudd's bundle or individual gamble boxes.

Depending on the price I might consider this, but it might be an even better deal if they also decide to drop another gamma recruit event on us during whatever initial sale they decide to bring this out under. I've admittedly done very little with my original gamma recruit since finishing all the recruit tasks on him, but if I'm going to potentially roll another one for this I might as well go for the recruit perks too.

I would say the new trait is a waste of a starship trait slot. You're better of using any of the 3 CD reduction methods that are already in game, are more effective and affect all boff abilities instead of just the one (or two) you would have on a build.

Yeah, I missed that the new one was a CD reduction and not an actual extension trait too. There are indeed more effective and cheaper global CD reductions out there, so this would probably only help people still working towards those more meta options.

9k Zen seems overpriced for what you get for this bundle, but 4.5k Zen seems a little more palatable. I'm probably going to have to sleep on it to decide whether I want to pull the trigger on this one. Flying cannon boat escorts can be fun, but Pilot is ultimately pretty gimmicky and not all that useful at the end of the day, so I'm not sure it would necessarily be an upgrade over what I already fly, and I don't know if doing a CRF-based cannon boat would really be worth it over the CSV ones I already play.

What is so far a deal killer for me is that apparently it is not worth bringing that ship on the same level as other ship remodels.
