Great idea, what about thematically matching uniform?
For Federation captains it's the standard TNG/DS9 uniform. Unfortunately for Remans and Romulans it's in the Zen store. Klingons can wear the standard 2409 uniform.

Is the Defiant class allowed to be used? Just asking as I didn't see her on the Fed Ship Restrictions list.
Defiant-class, although it fits to the timeline, is not mentioned or shown in "Nemesis". If you don't have any of the other ships, exceptionally you can use it.

So if I were to bring a FED aligned Romulan character, I would have to use phaser beams and photon torpedoes on my Scimitar?
