6k on sale for another booster bundle ship looks interesting but not one for the let's go get right away, best way to look at these bundles is 6k when sale for a legendary ship that should be 5k on its own giving you a bit of extra fluff you may or may not use. But it's only worth getting these ones when they are on sale that's for sure.

Everything in that bundle is bound to the character that picks up the token except for the ship. No chance reclaiming them on multiple toons.
I'm going to get that ship because it sounds like fun and looks good, the rest of the pack i don't really care about.
I just wish you could pick up the ship by itself instead of having to buy the rest along with it.

Very tempted to get this! I never had any of the vestas, I plan to replace my main with a 2409 version of him anyway, and the BOffs are a nice cherry on top of the cake. For 6k this is not too bad.

I like the look of this ship from a space barbie perspective, but an Intel Sci ship seems to be the weakest of these Legendary starter bundles in terms of ship stats, and the traits and consoles off of it seem pretty "meh" as well. Unless these boffs come with some sort of amazing meta-breaking new traits this bundle seems pretty weak overall. As pointless as the Dominion pack's level 65 boost was and annoying as the single character-bound boff and Jem weapon were, the ship itself is a great one to build and came with meta traits for several flavors of builds. To follow up with this as the next bundle and charge more just seems all around disappointing.

The fact that it has new unique items which bind to the character and can't be reclaimed for others is a bit of a sticking point for me here, same with the Jem Hadar bundle. So I guess you'd have a choice to make if you buy this - sacrifice the items to the alt or claim it on your main and take the hit with losing the booster.

I’m so, so,soooooo sick and tired of every single legendary ship being locked into a ridiculously priced bloat-bundle. They are simply impossible to afford for casual players or anyone who simply can’t justify throwing £100+ on some pixels for a seriously mediocre game.

The ships should be available individually for all; not this bs FOMO, fake-sale crap they are pulling all the time to bleed wallets dry.

Nice looking ship visually but most people will never be able to fly it due to greedy pricing.

I kind of agree with you there. The look is very nice, also on the older models. Regarding the ship stats, maybe some weird hybrid build with surgical strike and space magic would be interesting. Traits and consoles seem to be pretty oudated, or are we missing something there? The original vestas were a classic TorpSci platform with a stronger lean towards torps.

It is a very tempting offer, never had any Vesta class ships, this could be a good jumping off point.
picking this up for 50% off would be a good deal, if you are in doubt, just remember the 141st Rule of Acquisition: "Only fools pay retail."

Yeah, it seems still like it would lean towards a torp-heavy sci build. A Surgical Strikes build might be interesting since this does offer the Aux-based cannons, but you'd probably get better performance using that Commander slot for Grav Well 3 and maybe a mix of other Science and Intel anomalies if you have access to the Spore-Infused Anomalies trait. Getting SIA means you already have either the Somerville or Balth though, which are already cheaper Sci ships with some Intel slots though, so raises the question of whether it is really worth paying 2-4x as much for a full Intel spec with marginally better seating over a ship that comes with a meta EPG trait.

I really liked this bundle to be honest. The EV suits from Tenebris Torquent had stolen my heart for some time now. It's like a combination of the First Contact suit with MACO, it looks really awesome. The Holo-Boffs also sound nice, I wish we could get Kira as one of them but I suppose they are only keeping officers that are part of Starfleet. To be fair the Bajoran Militia was integrated into Starfleet according to STO canon (I think). Anyways I might get the bundle.

Do these Legendary captain bundles ever go on sale for 50% again, after their initial release? I just rolled my first science toon to play the new 2409 tutorial and wouldn't mind doing a space Barbie around this bundle for 6000zen. However, I am trying to save up for the 10th anniversary bundle and don't want to drop the Zen on this right now.
