I’m so, so,soooooo sick and tired of every single legendary ship being locked into a ridiculously priced bloat-bundle. They are simply impossible to afford for casual players or anyone who simply can’t justify throwing £100+ on some pixels for a seriously mediocre game.

The ships should be available individually for all; not this bs FOMO, fake-sale crap they are pulling all the time to bleed wallets dry.

Nice looking ship visually but most people will never be able to fly it due to greedy pricing.

I like it better than lockbox ships tho. I agree with you overall, but when that 'must have' ship comes around, I'd rather it just have a price tag and not someone whispering 'may the odds be forever in your favor' every time I drop $20 on keys.

Do these Legendary captain bundles ever go on sale for 50% again, after their initial release? I just rolled my first science toon to play the new 2409 tutorial and wouldn't mind doing a space Barbie around this bundle for 6000zen. However, I am trying to save up for the 10th anniversary bundle and don't want to drop the Zen on this right now.

I agree a set price is better than gambling.

But the cost of these ships is just obscene. Players have simply accepted that a single ship should cost a much as an entire game; and tbh it’s complete madness.
Cryptic is like an abusive partner where they keep bullying us with these prices and yet players just roll over and accept it because they have some bizarre Stockholm syndrome.

If they were just selling the ship, I could see the value. There are already 6 different Vesta variants, all with their own stuff. If you wanted to collect them all, getting this while it's on sale would make sense. That being said, Cryptic is doing the same thing they always do and tacking on extra stuff to 'justify' a $120 bundle for one ship. As before, paying that amount for BoE crap is a bit of a slap in the face

"sighs"...as much as I want to buy the mirror universe bundle with things on sale I can't. Their greed and mismanagement of things has gone to far, even when I have some disposable cash I just don't want to spend it on this game because I feel like it will only go towards something else they'll monetize.

This Legendary Vesta is inexplicably set up in such a way that her console, her Trait, and even her own boff and stats don't match the price players would need to pay in order to get her. As an item geared towards new characters this doesn't satisfy players, new players will choose others because of value for money, and players who have already collected all six Vesta's don't want to pay a hundred dollars to get themselves another space Barbie that they won't even use.（#－.－）
I can understand the need for Cryptic to be under pressure from Gearbox to report earnings, but they are doing the exact opposite, which will not bring any more revenue to this game other than draining players' patience.
I'm even starting to wonder if Cryptic never does market research to find out what players really want.∑( ° △ °|||)︴

Now the bundle is out, I've seen some talk on Reddit about the ship, some of which was from the PTS. The vibe seems to be that apart from the looks, which admittedly are fantastic, the only thing the ship really has going for it is the 4/2 weapon layout, but it's not really built to properly take advantage of that - I think you need a 4/3 ship really if you're planning on mixing beams with space magic - and I've seen a couple of folks saying it's effectively a downgrade from the Palatine and you'd be better off with it if you really want one of the MME's.

I had a new Delta Recruit I had just started, the one in my avatar pic actually. I ended up getting this pack for her. I really like it myself, but I am nowhere near an end game pro shipbuilder or anything, I've always just played the story content with the occasional FTO. I am the definition of a casual player haha. I am working to develop into more difficult end game events though!
