    You know I wouldn't care so much about that stuff if they'd fix things needing fixing or updating to bring in to line with their "standards of quality" like they've done for ships. I mean, stop just making blatant attempts at money grabbing and do some stuff worthy of making a player go "oh hey, they did the thing, guess I'll throw some money their way"

    I've not spent any money on the game for over 2.5yrs now and I don't intend to change that any time soon. Constant cash grabs don't make up for lack of polish or realistic content beyond "run this mission 14 times for a trinket" events.
    The game has some very respectable visuals in terms of ships and the tailor options are amazing, but the quality of the game and things to actually do have fallen way behind in the last few years. I don't think the game is deserving of the amount of money many people throw at it for little more than shiny pixels.

    Agree on all points. STO is just a background game for me right now, a bit like one of those idle clicker games. It certainly does not justify any further investment from me right now but it does kill a bit of time and it is the complex mechanics and visuals which are still appealing to me right now but things are far from perfect, I hope things improve.
