Hi, I've recently joined UFP with my new account/toons. I'd like to know if I can also revive my old ones. If I try to login using the old account it fails, which is no surprise after several years. But if I try to create a new account, using those details, I get the message that the username/e-mail is taken. Again no surprise. Is there a way to revive that account and it's associated toons?

Did you used to be registered here with the UFP? If you have an old forum account we'd need some details to look into that, but from what you're saying about toons it makes me think you're talking about a STO account. If that's the case, you'd need to get in touch with Cryptic directly to see if they can find it.

When I read “toons” I am thinking you are talking about your sto characters instead of the UFP account as bridger mentioned.
I can be wrong also but just making sure that there is no misunderstanding off course

No, they are toons in the STO account sense, an account distinct from the one I've recently set up. There was a UFP account for that STO account and e-mail address. It's been inactive on STO for a while, but I'm reviving it. It would be good to revive it on UFP too. I've used the CL-6 link above, so I should get an answer in due course.

No, perhaps I am not making myself clear. The old account, and the characters on it, works in STO. I have just checked that. It is a lifetime account.
However, that account, with those characters, is separate from this account on STO and UFP. Both of these C-Saarinen accounts are new.
The old account, with a different name and e-mail address, used to be a member of UFP.
Because it has not been active on UFP for some time, the login no longer works.
Also, because the name/e-mail has been used before, I cannot register it on UFP as a new account
I would like to re-activate/re-join the old account as a member of UFP.
This is not a problem with STO/Cryptic. This is about UFP membership.

You as an individual cannot have more than account here at the UFP, that’s against our terms and conditions. If you have more than one STO account, that’s not a problem, you can simply have all your characters from your multiple STO accounts join our fleets under your one UFP account.

Mentioned User C-Saarinen I'm afraid I thought that you were referring only to an old STO account but I think I now finally understand what you are getting at... Do you have an old account here on the UFP website? A bit of detective work on my part leaves me to believe you were formally known as Athougho; can you confirm that this is the case? As I mentioned in my previous post it is against our terms and conditions to have more than one account here at the UFP but all is not lost, I can merge the two accounts. All that remains for you to decide is which of the two usernames would you prefer to keep?

Apologies, I should have expressed myself more clearly. Both the STO accounts are working, no problem there. My old UFP account was Athougho and I still have that e-mail address. Since that is my lifetime STO account it will be my main one, so I had better keep that as the UFP account too.

I have merged the two accounts under the Athougho username - you might want to check that everything is where it should be.

Please note that you will be unable to log in with the newer username or password now; you will have to use your original Athougho username and email.
