[Patch Notes] - STO PC PATCH NOTES FOR 22/AUG/23

We will be performing shard maintenance on August 22 from 7-9:30 AM Pacific (14:00-16:30 UTC).

General:

Remastered a number of environmental objects relating to Borg missions with updated models and materials.
Reworked the Quantum Maelstrom Torpedo with the following changes:

Restored the damage and increased the recharge time.
The extra damage requires battleships to lose shields and bosses to be below half health.

Resolved an issue that prevented the Presequenced Frequency Randomizer from automatically appearing in the powers tray when equipped.
Resolved an issue that would cause Bridge Officer station selection UI to be missing after playing the Temporal Ambassador mission.
Resolved an issue with the Console - Universal - Power Transfer Emitters that prevented the console from affecting more than one foe.
Resolved an issue with Lorca's Ambition 3pc Set bonus power Torpedo to now properly apply the Dark Matter Dissolution dot.
Resolved an issue that allowed the Dance Coordinator on Nimbus III to be killed.

Be nice if they updated the lts borg stuff...sucks a lobi set available to anyone completely blows all the options out of the water

The devs may have shared a bit more than intended on Tribble a while back about unreleased content, so naturally some people out there took notes before they corrected their leak and locked things back down. Aside from that, given how small the environment artist team is it is always a safe bet any new environment art is going into at least one and probably several new things in the near future. It is interesting though to see them drop the art resources before the new content though. Normally they save it all up for us to test and find what's broken all in one patch.

No, as in the next major content drop, which will probably be some time in the next few weeks based on Cryptic's past patterns. They don't have the staffing to build assets that far ahead for the game. At best they might have earmarked what environments will be needed for the next story arc but they wouldn't commit more effort than that until closer to time, particularly if they need to make sure they can pin down certain voice actors for some of those plans.
