Early Stages on this one, but I'm working on it for my Klingon Recruit character whenever we get the next recruitment event. Trying to keep it semi in theme, though less so than my Jem Carrier build, mostly just in the visual appearance of the ship and using disruptor cannons. Plan is to do something with my Legendary Bortasqu'. Trying to stick with things I either already have unlocked or that can be cheaply obtained from the Exchange, so no Lockbox/Lobi traits or consoles.

Not (currently) a T6-X, so limiting myself to base ship and Captain, no Fleet Upgrade slots or upgraded ship consoles/traits. Still have several Personal Space Traits open. I'm also not sure on a lot of the Bridge Officer abilities. I know it's a bit weird to not have CRF III on a CRF build, but I was surprised that STOBetter did the same thing on both of their CRF builds.

I did the same on a build I was testing on Saturday CRF Temporal D7 it worked extremely well.

The build looks good so far, I would replace the Romulan Advanced Prototype Impulse Engines (New Romulus Reputation) with the Prevailing Innervated Impulse Engines Mk XV [SecSpd-2] [Spd] and run the trait from the ship "Thirst for Battle" makes the ship much funnier to fly.

I started my Leg Bort with DBBs, but the ship really seems to want cannons.

The consoles from the T5 Bort (Disruptor Autocannon, Subspace Snare, HoH'SuS Bird-of-Prey), you might get better results from +Dis tac consoles, unless those are there specifically because you want to lean into theme?

For some reason I didn't consider the Prevailing Set, even though I'm using it on my FAW build. Debating now if it's worth swapping the Warp Core for a Prevailing too, for the 2-piece bonus.

Thirst For Battle is better Damage, but I was thinking I might need the Bridge Officer Cooldown of CbtS more? Might need to be something I actually build up and test cooldown for to see.

Partially for theme, partially because I have them. The Autocannon at minimum seems like a solid extra punch when everything is already firing rapidly, and the Cooldown Reduction and giving a version of the Autocannon to the Bird seemed like an easy win. Probably would be better DPS just going for +Dis Tac consoles. Honestly, I was a bit surprised how few Universal +Dis consoles there were compared to when I was building out my Phaser ship.

That sort of clicky console is often fun as hell, but unless you've got that trait, Unconventional Systems, I think? They won't come up often enough to deal decent damage over time. (I know this, I have an attachment to the Mat'Ha raptor's Disruptor Cannon console that borders on unhealthy.)

You might want to at least try some standard Disruptor consoles, see how they feel "averaged over time," so to speak.

You in general only run the engine for the speed boost you get.

Thirst for Battle is to make the ship fly and turn better she is still a huge brik you will get more Trait Slots with the T-X
upgrades.

Also if you have done the last Summer Event put the Dragonsblood Flame Reactor Console it's passive 20% Bonus Damage for Disruptors.

I'm curious why you chose the T5 consoles instead of the T6 Flagship set. Outside of theme building, the Adaptive Emergency Systems and Flagship Tactical Computer are both really solid consoles. The Dampening Wave Emitter and the 3-pc set bonus could be skipped to keep part of the T5 set for flavor, but might be worth considering since you've invested pretty heavily in other gear here already and those consoles come with this ship. Just a thought.
