Doesn't really give a lot away as it's just showing off the cast essentially. The alien who appears at the 25 second mark is played by Elias Toufexis, who is the voice of Adam Jensen from Deus Ex. He also appeared in the first season episode, "Context is for Kings" but I don't remember seeing him.

News is breaking today that Season 5 of Discovery will be the last, and will drop some time in 2024.

Just saw that, was a little surprised to see it was going to be the final season. Figured they'd at least make it to 100 episodes. Although 5 seasons is a nice enough number I guess. Flip side might as well hold off to get the blu-rays until next year when they release a complete one.

No offense meant towards those who've been enjoying Discovery, but IMHO, Discovery ran/ is running five seasons too long.

In this time and age not many Scifi show will not run for 7 Season like they did before.

I mean Disco didn't start well but it got better in my opinion, not the greatest but okay. You could also make a case that if Disco wasn't a success and had critically bombed, maybe we wouldn't have Picard, Lower Decks etc as the powers that be might have gone "Well that 4th Pine Trek movie we've put on hold and now this new show failed, maybe Trek has had it's day." You never know.

The biggest problem with Disco feels like the same as the DCEU. They gave all the power to one guy, and then pulled the plug 5 minutes in. They have since spent 4 seasons trying to turn disco into a more traditional Trek show.
