Game: Helldivers 2

Mission Outcome: Another run organized earlier this morning so I had a nap, then we took to the stars, bringing peace and democracy to my republic!

mwa ha ha!

Luke hit level 15 and Novaboop hit level 7 as well, so yey!

Game: Helldivers 2

Mission Outcome: We came, we saw, we kick bug booty! (but only after the Automatons at Maleveron Creek kicked ours lol)

We did have some connection dropping/game crashing issues at first, but once that smoothed out, we went all Starship Troopers on the bugs!

Game: Helldivers 2

Officers Present:
Novalance - Squad Leader

Jestersmith (watching stream)

Mission Outcome:
Ninja-jacked Novalance's solo game-play and field promoted him to Squad Leader. Nova then organized several Trivial runs with the goal of obtaining as many medals as we can to enhance our warbonds.

We had about 5 tours and the bugs experienced what true democracy looks like! We also managed to level up while at these.

We are happy to report new member into the fray, after consistent "encouragement" from my side - Jestersmith is now on the right side of history and a helldiver in arms for democracy! We welcome him with a cup of Liber-tea!

Mission Outcome:We had a slightly shorter session this week but we did manage to get around to deal with an encounter on the road and moved on to deal with some zealots nearby.

Despite an unusual start to the second fight, we were able to successfully beat the enemy.

We did the latest Major Order of Activating the Planetary Terminid Systems for all four planets.

Each planet had Silos defense and bug extermination objectives which were completing while administrating managed freedom admirably!

Mission Outcome:
Early cup of Liber-tea where we did three tours, all on HELLDIVE difficulty. The game faced some peak traffic and we experienced some peak traffic issues.

We were able to successfully extract from 3/3 runs, and for first two get all objectives done!

The Quaser Laser Canon is awesome, get it!

Game: Halo Reach (MCC) & Helldivers 2

Heyallo

Mission Outcome:Heyallo and myself started with Reach. Immediately, Heyallo noted performance/latency issues due to the physical distance between Europe and Australia that end up being quite common.

We powered through the first two missions, but during mission 3, Nightfall, Heyallo crashed a couple of times so we decided to call it and maybe try at a later date after seeing if anything can be done.

We then proceeded to spread some liberty and justice for all and completed three missions to fill out an operation.

Mission Outcome:We ended up having a Helldivers afternoon going through multiple groups.

We spent the entire time on the Automaton front working to help towards the current major order.

When we left, the liberation of the final planet was at 82%.

Mission Outcome:Did a couple of runs with randoms with the UFP squad to start earning towards the new warbond which was released. Jestersmith ran with me and Jammers, whilst Heyallo was stabbing Dragons on Dogma.

Game: Hearts of Iron IV

Officers Present: Gostlool

Mission Outcome:The pair of us started with Old World Blues but quickly that desynched. After that we booted up a vanilla run as Germany (Chris) and the United Kingdom (Gostlool).

From there, the UK became an absolute monarchy and lost its colonies. Meanwhile Germany began the Great War V2.0... Great Britain joined the war and together they took on a number of former colonies. Following that, the United States was attacked and split, east rejoining the Empire and west having to learn German, the dividing line being Minnesota to Louisiana (Basically but not quite following the Mississippi).

Italy followed by the USSR followed. Then Iberia was claimed by the Empire.

That is where we called it, with plans next time to take on the middle east and asia.

Mission Outcome:We worked our way through Ilum confusing all of the imperial troops with a Sith who glowed more than his eyes were yellow and a bounty hunter with a surprisingly decent set of morals.

We completed all of our tasks on the planet and brought down Darth Malgus after he got a bit too big for his boots.

Mission Outcome:We made some progress in the middle east and asia. Brazil has also been occupied whilst German troops continue on to other parts of South America.

Next time the remainder of South America will be claimed while Great Britain will reclaim the jewel of the Empire: India.

Mission Outcome:An impromptu D2 session. We started off fumbling around with a timed mission a couple times, getting to the final stage of the final boss on our last attempt but coming just short.

Then I purchased DLC and we started a legendary run of that storyline. A break followed, and then we went on for another couple hours.
