I had a pretty good run yesterday in Lexington challenge as well. I haven't run incursion though. It's pretty much impossible to complete with random players.

Me neither but I've grouped up with some guys I found through Ubi board LFG and they've been good, we ran Warrengate Challenge today and it was pretty good, good team work and TS comms. Think they want to do incursions regularly too so if we need someone I'll buzz you if you're on

Thanks for your concern! It wasn't really all that serious in the end; I fell down and hit my head pretty badly. The hospital staff just wanted to make sure that I didn't have any lingering damage/a concussion. Happy to say that I did not.

Side note I've found a good group of regular EU based players who do challenge/incursion stuff and some DZ, they're a laid back good bunch. Here's the link to info thread as they are good to do runs with if you want a better organised team. They have a TS server too for comms which the group uses.

Thanks for the heads-up. Though I myself will probably be busy playing a modded GTA 5 in single player.

On a side note, I've noticed for quite some time the difference in difficulty between hard and challenge mode was big, mainly from just how quickly elite enemies are able to kill you in challenge. Well it seems there's a bug to thank for that.

I read an article on forbes.com published on the 24th of April which mentioned a bugged stat which instead of providing increased damage protection from elites it actually gives elites increased damage to the player. The article is an interesting read, in my opinion.

Once again, I will have to cancel the event later today, as I am needed elsewhere. I sincerely apologise for the lack of events lately; unfortunately, prepping for a wedding really puts a damper on other things that I would like to do. I will likely be able to begin hosting events regularly again either starting the last week of May or in June, when real life stuff is done and over with. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding!

Aye, that's fine. I've been running stuff through the group I linked earlier also. I'll be hitting final semester exams soon so am going into the Dark Zone in terms of play time for the next month or so unless i need a breather.

The next patch will be going live tomorrow. Patch notes seem to be pretty big. The things that stands out to me are the search and destroy missions for PvE and the adjustment to the frequency (or perhaps consistency) of high-end loot drops which should result in getting loot with higher gear scores.

Which brings me to the subject of gear scores. It used to be that gear quality was scaled according to color much like what you see in STO or other MMOs that have a loot system. Now there are gear scores for weapons, body armor, backpacks, holsters, kneepads, and masks.

I feel the devs made a wrong move with this gear score system because I don't think the game needed a gear score at all. There were times where I picked up weapons with higher gear scores that have talents I have no use for or have stat requirements that are too high to reach and often find that I would have to give up a lot just to activate those talents. Or at times I find backpacks, masks, kneepads, and body armor with higher gear scores that don't match my current set up.

With rng playing a big role in almost every stat on every piece of gear and weapons, I think the gear score system is woefully misrepresenting how effective the item actually is. At times I was actually kicked from groups by other players from challenge mode missions (not incursions, challenge mode) just because my gear score wasn't high enough, and my gear score hovers around 195. I have a SOCOM M1A with a score of 163 which I kept because it has talents that deal increased damage to elites and reduce skill cooldowns by headshot kills and I've passed over other sniper rifles with higher gear scores which I found from loot drops which have talents that I don't want or need. Granted if it were a M1A with a higher gear score, then perhaps I would have kept those depending on the talents it comes with but with so much randomness in the loot system that frequently gives you what you don't want, it's like trying to win the lottery.

Anyway, I hope the new patch will perhaps increase the chances of finding something I want in my gear and weapons.
