Event Campaign – Part V:

• The Feast Event:
  
  This Featured Event is the fifth and final of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the fourth installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign.
  This Event will include multiple TFOs previously featured individually in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their preferred test each day.
  

  The event versions of “Swarm” and “Bug Hunt” can be accessed via the new Event UI, accessible within your Mission Journal by pressing on the “Events” Tab.

  Participating in this Event will give all players the opportunity to win the Maelstrom Triflouride Torpedo Launcher!
• Rewards:
  
  Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours.
  

  Accruing a total of 14 days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim all of these rewards:
  Maelstrom Triflouride Torpedo Launcher
  25,000 Dilithium Ore (once only).
  3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (once only).
  

  Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade.
• Bonus Rewards:
  
  After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, and increasing for subsequent days.
• Zen Buyout Option:
  
  For players interested in instantly completing the No Win Scenario Event, we will be offering the option to purchase the remaining progress of this event at a scaling amount of Zen, as with other recent events.
• A Second Chance:
  
  Progress after the Event has ended will remain in an all new Second Chance interface, allowing the option to buyout rewards long after the Event has expired.

General:

• The Chimera-class Heavy Destroyer has been totally remastered! The new model was built by the ship's original designer, Jason Lee. The model has been rebuilt to more closely match Jason's original vision and updated to STO's current level of fidelity. To see the remaster, ready your Federation Heavy Destroyer variant, visit the Ship Customization interface, and apply the Chimera preset.
• The Manticore-class Heavy Destroyer has been remastered! This remaster brings the Manticore up to STO's current level of visual fidelity and should fix customization issues between the Manticore and the Chimera's recent remaster. To see the new Manticore, ready your Federation Heavy Destroyer variant, visit the Ship Customization interface, and apply the Manticore preset.
• Added the following materials to the Federation Heavy Destroyer family: California, Defiant, Galaxy, Intrepid, Type 0, Type 7a, Type 8, Type 8b, Vesta, NX, NX Refit, Sovereign, Sovereign Refit, Odyssey.
• Added the following window options to the Federation Heavy Destroyer family: Galaxy, Sovereign, Type 0, Type 6, Odyssey.
• Resolved an issue that caused the Fleet Embassy inter-fleet shuttle/transwarp upgrades to accept tactical/security Duty Officers instead of science/medical Duty Officers.
• Resolved an issue with the TFO "Bug Hunt" that could cause the spawnmother not to spawn if all players are already in the lair area when the mission step for the spawnmother starts.

Here's some shots of the remastered Manticore, maybe one day they'll update the ships to have proper specialisation specs but we'll see. The new model looks great but I'm not a fan of the dull matt look they keep going with on the Bussard collectors.

I saw on Reddit if you put the mycelial jump console on it, it has a unique animation but I can't verify that.

Am I imagining things, or is the remastered Chimera/Manticore sporting a little less of a "beer gut?"

They have altered the geometry a little, the secondary hull at the front now comes up in a straight edge to the saucer instead of curving forwards and the nacelles are a tad different. It's hard to tell if they've streamlined it any further though.
