The mid-season update for 14 is now out, with a new featured episode, we have a discussion thread started by Bridger here. The episode "The Renegade's Regret" is centred around the Tzenkethi Cpatain, Neth Parr, who went to DS9 to seek political asylum after betraying her race in order to help the Alliance.

You as a player will be able to take on the role as Neth Parr, experiencing the brutal Tezenkethi Crusade from her perspective. This should start to tie up the story moving into the next expansion, Victory is Life. Another thing that ties into that expansion is the new secondary specialisation, aptly called "Constable", in honour of the loveable Odo.

Console players will see this mid-season expansion at a later date, possibly in the near future as updates to console tend not to be too far apart from the PC! You can also read the official news post from Perfect World here.

Also, keep an eye out for First Contact Day celebrations starting on the 5th of April! The STO event will run from the 5th to the 12th.
