    Greetings all.

    I was just hoping to get some ideas and suggestions about whether to go with a beam boat or an escort loaded with cannons as a science officer.

    Current Setups:

    Beam Boat - Fleet Advanced Heavy Cruiser.
    x8 Fleet Advanced Distruptor Beam Banks

    Fleet Advanced Escort - Loaded with cannons
    x1 Omega Torp
    x3 Fleet Antiproton Dual Heavy Cannons
    x1 Fleet Antiproton Turret
    x1 Omega Cutting Beam
    x1 Omni - Directional Antiproton beam array.
