I've played Guild Wars with UFP member Shogun for a little over three years. He convinced me to try STO just prior to it's FTP change, and I enjoyed it enough to want to come back to it later. And now, it's later.

Additional Comments
Before my hiatus I mostly played a tactical Federation alien, but during double XP events following the FTP release (they usually drew me back to the game) advanced a Federation alien engineer and a KDF science Orion. During this past double XP weekend I played two Romulans, a tactical KDF ally and a science officer in the Federation. So the account has five Vice Admirals.
However, I know nothing of the new end-game. Prior to the weekend my last bit of play was not too long after the FTP release. We did a bit of dilithium farming in the hourly events, some of the elite borg missions, but nothing grabbed my interest like playing new characters up through the ranks via story missions.
It's obvious a strong, active fleet is now almost necessary to fully get into STO's attractive new endgame content, so here I am!
