I am a new player to STO but i have experience in EVE online which ive been told is like STO i have always loved star trek franchise for its exploitative nature and colorful worlds i hope im able to join STO with all of you and enjoy the game.

EVE online which ive been told is like STO
Not really; EvE is fairly nonstandard as far as MMOs go, STO fits into the regular level up your character and get phat lootz model, just with spaceships instead. Of course it can still be enjoyable, no worries about cash flow problems when you get blown up in a pimped ship.
