    Hello, UFP!

    So first off, the irony: I actually wasn't that much of a Star Trek fan until I started playing STO. I mean, I would watch the TOS and TNG reruns as they aired on G4 back then, but I mostly did so out of boredom rather than genuine interest in the series. Redface

    The gameplay of STO was actually what got me interested. Some friends from my City of Heroes group had been playing the beta for a while, and when the beta went open, I decided to give it a try as well. The ship combat was really fun, and I had faith in Cryptic at the time (lol), so I went and bought lifetime subscription immediately. I've been playing off and on ever since launch but have been very active in the game this past year. I'm definitely a gamer when it comes to STO; I enjoy min/maxing my characters and running the difficult missions.
