    She was a very funny lady.. but... she got a little senile in her old age and said some unforgivable things esp relating to the middle east.. jewish or not.. when you are that famous you need to choose your words carefully.. and I think at 80+ she didn't take her meds or just didn't care.

    She wasn't senile, she was just outrageous! One quote of hers in a gig always stuck with me; she was responding directly to an offended heckler. "Comedy is to make us laugh.. September 11th.. if we didn't laugh where the hell would we all be!"

    The world can be a pretty miserable place. People like Joan and Robin made it a little less so.

    She wasn't my favourite comedian, nor was she my favourite 'Celebrity' not even close. Some of the things she has said were too edgy for me. There's humour, then there's outright insulting. Plus, she looked liked a Son'a from Insurrection.

    Nailed it, I was just about to post the YT video and say "tell me that's not senile or her not on her medication" cause that comment was so messed up... minute I heard that I felt a little sick.

    After viewing the video, I do not think she was trying to sound as malicious as she did. She was just trying to emphasise (perhaps falsely) that Palestinians were not in fact innocent. Her argument being that "They started it with Hamas firing rockets into Israel" followed up by a strange comparison to New York doing the same thing if New Jersey fired rockets into Manhattan.

    I personally felt that she didn't have an idea on what she was talking about but thats just me. You would be surprised how many celebrities have a similar viewpoint. I think Gene Simmons is another one.
