Before I departed my ship I took all the photos and videos I had taken and made the following video. It was a tribute to the ship and her crew who have served with distinction and dedication. Whether it is conducting bi-lateral training with the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force or disaster relief after Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines, the George Washington has been there and represented the US Navy in the finest way possible. So I leave this small tribute to the ship that was my home for two years.
