[Three of Seven]

I started from the earliest start date of 769AD as the king of Pictland, the islands above were more than happy to become my vessels fairly early on.



I felt my kingdom however, needed a new brand, a name change and so began my quest, the starting point was just Pinklandia.



This image just because my king was quite stylish.



Stability early on was a big issue, many peasant revolts and religious wars between two forms of Catholicism, or just vessels wanting to be independent or wanting the king title. This is probably where I learnt a fair bit more of the game than previously, in some cases, it was easier just to grant independence than fight multiple wars at once. These revolts and uprisings often came while I was conquering more land. When my wars ended, I could slowly reclaim the lost lands, or they sometimes willingly joined back.

I started to take over small bits of Ireland, which also got renamed to Purplelandia, this was interesting because I won a claim war, then inherited a claim war that I couldn't win, some Petty King had way more allies than I did, so more soldiers. I had to give up that land, only to come back for it later, as I slowly had the Petty Kings allies killed...



There were many nice people willing to join my court from all over, including Wales, yes that gets renamed later too, spoiler, everyone gets renamed! So I give them an old tribe settlement and go off to press their claim, pressing it when they are a vessel of mine ensures that the land is loyal to me. But at this point, the majority of the de jure empire is under my control, just need to pick up a bit more land and more piety, then it would be mine!



As luck would have it, a holy revolt started in my lands, that would reward me with a nice chunk of piety, even if I did die in battle, my heir won and was able to form the Empire of Britannia, or as it is now know, the Empire of Pinktopia!



The update patch today preparing the game for the new DLC has made this save a mess, but I ended by getting the achivement for holding all 4 of the kingdoms (England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales), it was fun! The update today has however given me a lot of gold and other fun stuff!

I dunno what to be more impressed with: That you conquered all of the British Isles, or that you managed to navigate Wales. I always figured their naming conventions were actually just some made up code to confuse invading English.

"Alright lads we'll meet up at Lalwawwal... Christ, there is 12 Ws in a row... "

Of course we all await the inevitable Scottish rebellion, and it's subsequent Hollywood blockbuster "Pinkheart".
