I saw this on Reddit just now and thought some of you might enjoy it!
Disclaimer: The good thing about standard dog commands is that they're tried and tested. Dogs can have trouble distinguishing between commands that sound similar. I can't speak for the suitability of any of these commands.
When addressing a pet in Klingon, you use what is known as "Clipped Klingon". This is a somewhat abbreviated form of the language, notably cutting out the pronomial prefixes. So, while yIba'! is the correct way to say "Sit!", when addressing a dog you would simple say ba'!
SuH! - This informs the listener that you're about to issue a command; sort of a way to attract attention to yourself. Alternative forms are Su'! and SSS!
chop! = "Bite!" (ch and p re the same as in the English word "chop", but the o is like the o in "rope")
qem! = "Bring!" (might be used as "Fetch!")
Qot! = "Lie down!"
naDev ghoS! = "Come here!" (or just naDev! = "Here!")
Sup! = "Jump!"
ron! = "Roll!"
qet! = "Run!"
mev! = "Stop!"
mevyap! = "That's ENOUGH!"
For pronunciation, see the Klingon language Institute's website.
As for affections: You can turn any noun knto a term of endearment by adding -oy to the end. Which one you choose is highly individual, but one suggestion might be targhoy ("targy"), likening your dog to a targ (a popular Klingon pet).

Interesting. Dogs do seem to recognize commands in almost any language when given enough training.

Interesting. Dogs do seem to recognize commands in almost any language when given enough training.
I think Dogs are capable of common association with commands by reading our body language. When giving the "Sit" command in English (or whichever language) we use body language and tone of voice in which the dog associates with each command.
Regardless of the language the dog will understand the body language paired with the command respective of language.
