It's been a long time coming, and it usually happens only rarely, but on this day in 2015, I'd like to appoint a new Vice President. There is an FEO myth that the VP role is cursed since members who have previously entered the position usually disappear after a few months, but this member has been almost absolutely steadfast in the 8-9 years they've been here. 
With the support of FEO, Sharpkiller is being promoted to the Vice President position, with immediate effect. Sharpkiller will continue his duties in working with Jordan, but may find he'll be sharing his time with other general administrative duties of the UFP.
This means that Sharpkiller is now also the highest contact for any priority concern or proposal etc. a member might have who doesn't necessarily want to go through FEO as a whole. Sharp will now be taking a more noticeable role in general operations of the community aside from engineering matters.
Sharpkiller has taken on a number of roles over the years he's been with us, including leading up the Starfleet Harriers division, Starfleet Operations CO as well as the UFP Division Supervisor role (in what is now known as Head of Starfleet), before taking up the engineering role alongside Jordan a few years ago. Arguably, he's one of the most experienced members of the UFP to take up the post and I'm sure he'll serve us all well.
