Favourite Starfleet Uniform

I'm sure everyone has their own favourite uniforms around, be it from the films or the series, my question today is which uniform is your favourite worn by a Starfleet officer? You can list several in order of favourites if you want! Mirror Starfleet is excluded from this.

So, here are mine.

1) Skant uniform, see in TNG, this is a dress that is worn by male or female staff, though it only really seems to look good in the teal colour, red and yellow are both unflattering.

2) DS9/Voyager uniform, the coloured shoulders do look very nice to me and easy to spot who is from what department.

3) FC/DS9, this uniform is what is the UFP standard for STO get together events, the department colour now on the inside as oppose to the shoulders still looks good to me.

n) TOS Dress, just needs a mention, I like the look of the TOS dress, not the uniform for males, too bland, but the dress does work well!

Didn't expect to see the skant uniform variant mentioned here, let alone see it as a top pick. It's worth noting that my first three options are highly interchangeable depending on my mood. Regardless, here are my favourites in order of preference:

1) Voyager/DS9 - Can't go wrong with this one. Such a clean looking uniform.

2) First Contact - This uniform always looked really practical and militaristic to me. The more subtle variations of colour are less jarring as well!

3) TNG - An absolute classic.

4) Star Trek: Beyond - Judging from the new trailer, these uniforms look seriously cool.

5 - honourable mention) Bajoran Militia - Although not a starfleet uniform, I thought I'd sneak this one in here! One of the most stylish uniforms going.

I often pick the Skant as my favourite of the uniforms more for the idea than the style because it only looks good in one colour, but the idea of a uniform dress worn by both men and women with no reactions from those around is something we need! People should be free to wear whatever they want to cover themselves. The TOS dress looks far better, well, it's hard to get a mostly solid colour wrong, it wouldn't have fit with the design of TNG

The only other TNG one I like is the early admiral one, I just like the way the pips are designed for it.

If I'm honest, my favorite is First Contact, hands down. It's just much more practical in my head than anything else.

Managed to completely forget about the Wrath of Khan uniform. Definitely a nice choice.

Totally have to agree with Sammy on this one: Khan uniform all the way. It's grabbed my attention since I first saw those movies as a kid, and it's still an attention grabber now.

Plus they're extra impressive if you ever read about how they came up with them. It's a miracle they worked at all, let alone became so incredible.

1) Wrath of Khan uniform

2) FC/Late DS9 - Nearest to Khan I've seen thus far. Has the distinction of actually looking like a uniform.

3) Post Season 3 TNG - Mostly for nostalgia reasons. I love that uniform (Obviously) but I can't actually envision doing any work in them. Never mind the fact that it leaves nothing to the imagination.

Not that it was much of an issue for the primary cast, being amazing looking people, but what about the rest of the scrubs? Plus, can you imagine how the dude from Deck 28 who hasn't had a space shower in a month and hasn't hit the space gym since the academy would look like in that uniform?

4) Ds9/Voy - The black with coloured shoulders was a good uniform. Had the added benefit of being rather sliming, which is always a bonus.

To be honest, I like the Odyssey Uniforms. If there was somewhere I could get one made for me, I would geek the hell out.

For me its:

1. Wrath of Khan - those were seriously stylish uniforms, and they were totally unique in their approach. Even the rank insignia was totally unique and hasn't been seen since. Pips are great and all, but they get a tad samey. You had to be a real professor to work out what the rank devices on the NPC's were!

2. First Contact/Post S5 DS9 - Possibly the best series based uniform. It looks like a uniform, it appears smart and well thought out. Plus the variations... I much prefer the FC Admiral variant as well. I remember when the line officers were wearing this beauty, but the Admirals were still in the late TNG variants. Speaking of...

3. Post Season 3 TNG - If I have to give a runner up, its this. Its very stodgy, but its leaps and bounds better than Season 1's uniform. Even the Admiral's get a new variant at this point in time.

4. Voyager - Last but by no means least, Voyager. I would consider this the evolutionary step from TNG to FC. Its right bang in the middle of the two variants, and it manages to mix form with a sense of purpose. However, I disliked the divisional colour being the shoulders with a grey undershirt, so thats why it ranks fourth.

TOS Mini-Skirts!!

Personally my favorite uniforms have to be:

First Contact/Late DS9
Voyager
TNG (Season 3 upwards)
Honourable Mention: Wells Temporal Uniforms.

Its hard to pick which ones I really liked from Trek, however I would mention the Odyssey uniform from STO but since its not technically canon I'll omit that choice. Also I have to say I am quite partial the Enterprise Era uniforms, for jumpsuits they look clean and fit with theme of mans early exploration of the galaxy.

I too preferred the Wrath of Khan uniform, so after a bit of though and research:

1. Wrath of Khan
2. TNG Season 4
3. DS9 Season 7/ First Contact
4. TOS

Though one thing to think of would be how fast could a crew member be able to get dressed during a "Red Alert."

For normal uniforms it would be the Nemesis uni.

Non Starfleet, because we know MACO isn't strictly part of Starfleet, it would be the proper Enterprise MACO uniform.
