Your Role on a Starship/Starbase?

First rule, you can't be the captain, or first officer! Because I'm sure many would pick one of the big roles!

So, you are on a ship or stationed at a base, what is your role? You can hold a civilian role if that's what you would like, but try to come up with one and why you think that is what you would be.

I have not yet thought of mine, it's just an interesting question I wanted to share!

Helm Officer. I think the wonder of being the pilot for one of the Federations many advanced ships, exploring unknown space and being the officer to get us there would just awesome! I also wouldn't mind being the operations officer as I like dealing with challenges and finding new and interesting solutions.

I'd like to be a ship building project manager at Utopia Planetia. Basically I would be in charge of getting all the needed materials and other duties in making the new ships.

Chief Engineer. I don't know, engineering has just been my thing IRL, and it's something that I enjoy seeing in Trek as well.

I could be a ship designer, just imagine the creations I could come up with!

Really I would probably be under the sciences just recording results from various experiments, or operations just doing the data recording because admin skills is what I mainly excel in! I could also work as a nurse, I don't know a lot of medical stuff but I could learn enough to get that role!
