I was looking at http://wewantworf.com/ and they claim the new show is going to be jj-verse. Does anyone know where this came from or did I just find something cool?

Since CBS have the rights to Star Trek TV shows and Paramount have the rights to Star Trek movies I think it's unlikely the new series will have any kind of crossover with the movies. CBS and Paramount have generally been doing a pretty poor job of working together on anything, especially when it could result in one of the others profiting from the other, the lawsuit against Axanar is probably the best example of them really trying to get something done together. CBS aren't allowed to launch Star Trek 2017 until 6 months after Star Trek: Beyond due to an agreement between the two so as not to create confusion as to whose Star Trek people are watching. The relationship between the two almost seems a bit like that of 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment over the rights to certain characters.
At this point we don't know for certain but I don't think it is likely, CBS will want to do their own thing with as few constraints imposed by Paramount as possible, a shared universe requires some coordination on continuity and I don't think either CBS or Paramount wants to be bound by the other.

Personally I hope that the new Trek series isn't set the JJ-verse. I'm not a huge fan of the films to begin with, whilst they are good sci-fi action movies for me they lose the "Trek" feel that I'm accustomed too growing up with TNG and such. For all we know CBS might pull a blinder and this could be the long awaited "Star Trek: Titan" or "Captain Worf" series as per the tons of rumours floating around. Either way if CBS went along these lines I think they would please alot of Star Trek fans. Lets just hope that they don't cut it short like Enterprise.

It's the first time I heard something about that but if that is true than I will skip it.

I would hope that it's not based on JJ Trek, that would not be of interest to me. But it would be interesting to know how they can make that claim, where did they get it from, etc. Otherwise it just looks like a shock line to promote their own project.
To be honest, I'd rather have more Seven of Nine story #WeWant7Of9

I think it will be in the the prime universe or that it will be a complete reboot on its own. I personally hope that it will be in the prime universe, and say about 10 years after the return of Voyager. I am torn between seeing an alum be the Captain or with going to an all new cast.

I thought the new series was going to be set in JJ Verse, I'm hoping that it won't be but if it is I'm just going to treat it how I treated the movies, an alright action sci-fi show. I'm hoping now that it is going to set sometime after Voyager, that would be pretty neat.

Even if it is in jj-verse you'll see another side to what the cinematic version was showing. As I have stated in another thread when you make a movie about something like Star Trek the point of it is to entertain all audiences which will be more flashy then a typical trek tv episode would be. Just look at all the other Trek movies. They all had that action pack to them to some degree.

I think many would like to see that, provided it's done right of course. Enterprise had potential but I think the producers messed around too much by introducing the Temporal Cold War and the Xindi story arc.
The TCW story arc was a messy can of worms, factions waging war through time seems like an interesting concept but then I'm thinking it would create major problems within the space-time continuum.
The Xindi story arc I wasn't entirely opposed to as it introduced a never-before seen alien civilization but the war theme introduced during this arc could have been better served in the depiction of the Earth-Romulan war. I was hoping the Enterprise's encounter with a Romulan space mine would lead to the Earth-Romulan war arc and would be an excellent opportunity to showcase more of Starfleet's other ships from that era.
