Just sayin hello to the new fleet and will give a few background details just for kicks.
I'm in Chicago, IL (USA) where I work full time as a flag/banner designer. Nothing fancy, I mainly just throw some words on the screen and make it look purty - then click print 
Been around STO since the beta days - always said I should've thrown down for the lifetime sub as I knew I'd probably keep coming back, even if there were a couple long breaks in between. I've done a lot of game hopping recently, trying to find "the one". Last few years, I've mostly been in Star Wars groups (don't hate!!), doing some RP kinda stuff, but I'm really more of a Trekkie so I've since quit all but 1 SW related groups (still rocking some Star Wars Combine).
With the latest Agents of Yesterday update, I decided to give STO a go again, but this time I did some digging for a good fleet (I found 1 right??!!). Normally I run around solo for a couple weeks and wind up getting bored and quitting. Bought myself an Eternal Class ship and have been enjoying it very much. Mostly cause the ship is badass and I'm actually taking stuff down for once. I must have set my old Sci ships up completely wrong lol.
Outside of work & gaming, I also play piano/guitar. Nothing pro and not in a band these days (though might have something in the works), but I have some fun with it. Plenty more I could ramble on about, but I'll end with a quick tidbit about my name. I suck at naming characters. Writing/fiction in general is just not my thing. Back in 2006ish, I started playing Everquest 2, and I needed a name for a "tank" style character. I was a HUGE fan of the xbox 360 game Chromehounds........and I was like hey, tank......mech.........boom, Chrome Hound was born. Been using the name ever since. Of course now that browser came out and stole my name so that's basically the joke I get now. Could be worse!
