    Hey guys,

    The first pass of the new lighting system is available on Tribble. If you're having issues where STO will crash as soon as you try to launch Tribble. If you are forcing DX9 using this command Line in the launcher: -d3d11enable 0 -d3d9. Simply remove the command and try to launch Tribble again. It should launch fine now!

    But having DX9 enabled is what makes the game playable.

    Since they added DX11 support, the game crashes after several minutes (this happens on all games that run Cryptics engine (STO, NWN, Champions) on AMD hardware.

    If the new Lighting requires DX11 and the issue with the crashes aren't fixed, I'm going to be solidly pissed.

    Agreed, they had better get the DX 11 issues sorted before they implement the lighting changes!
