I would think that the time ships would make the FedRoms OP. I believe one of those TOS ships is actually better than the 3 pack ships (I forgot which one, sorry) and that's probably the ship that could give the Scimitar a run for its money.

I'm also guessing if that's the case for the Roms, the Dominion are likely going to get the same treatment I think. Meaning Dominion and Romulans are going to be the OP factions. And you know what? I'm fine with that really..

This whole development gives me mixed feelings regarding future c-ships.

They did confirm we will keep seeing romulan ships but i have the feeling romulans will share their ship quota with the dominion fraction. Basicly one 3 pack would be fed, kdf and romulan, next one fed, kdf and dominion and so on.

Well romulans had most of the time the advantage with boff space traits and the supremancy of the scimitar until ship traits and delta rising temporary gave feddies the edge, but too be honest does it really matter in a game where pvp is dead since forever and where a spec tree which gives bonuses against enemies if they survive longer than 4 seconds is considered weak?

It's not like the borg queen is going to make a account on the official forums to make a thread complaining about us players.

Can people just stop complaining about the ships on the main forums? It is a nice treat for Romulans and it makes sense that they should be able to do that. Seriously, this will not be a bad thing.

I realize saying it here is kind of stupid, but at the same time, I really don't want to fight.

I completely agree with you.

However, there is one thing I am wishing for more than that they can use the ships: Please let them also use the uniforms!
Maybe I like canon too much, but it is already annoying for the two SROs on my current crew, that they cannot use the standard Fed uniforms.

It would be nice if this change applied across all the factions. But this is a nice treat for the rommies

It is not your place to tell anyone on this forum or the Star Trek Online forum what they can or can not do. If people want to complain about this they have every right to do so.

lol... I'm not one to collect every single ship trait there is. I know what I like to fly and what works well with it. As well faction I enjoy playing. I cant stand romulans, soooo I could careless if they can fly more ships haha. Coo-dos to you if you like playing that type of game. I dont find it fun myself. But I'm a dirty casual

Anyone else hoping they use the new expansion to revamp the Ground Combat, i mean were basically gonna be fighting giant super intelligent bugs Right. It would be kinda cool to have missions where you have to defend an evac site from the Hur'Q or reclaim a conquered world. Also wouldn't it be cool if the Voth Mech Suits made a comeback, like the alliance reversed engineered the tech and created them to specifically fight the Hur'Q because I mean, to fight giant bugs you need a mech suit.

There is a non-canon description with them that they came from gamma quadrant description they gave were ants with samurai armor. From a book; cant recall the name atm. What you said makes me think of Starship Troopers or Aliens, lol.

I apologize. I should've added that I just don't get why it matters. So the Romulans get more ships to play with. That's fantastic in my books. That's all it is for me. I don't understand why it would every be a bad thing. Botched my original intention of that message. Again, I apologize.

Seriously though, I just want ground combat to finally get a much needed update. I just feel that an enemy like the Hur'q would be a good opportunity to revamp PvE's ground missions.

I second this. I would play my Rom more if they could not only use FED ships, but also use FED uniforms--or access to a higher range of uniforms.

People have been asking for something similar for years: Baldrics/Sashes for Fed Klingons. I highly doubt it'll happen. And that sucks.
