It's not time-travel shenanigans, but it's set up as a "historical sim" situation, is my understanding. No risk your Klingon character will pull a Marty McFly and almost erase himself from history.

Still kind of silly. If the KDF were truly a faction, when they queue for this "historical simulation" they get join their forefathers in the glorious ATTACK on the station. As opposed to being forced to defend it *from* their forefathers.

Did they axe this emote? I recall another emote, think "At Ease" was removed or modified waaaaay back. It's been so long I forgot, but I remember having it and now I don't even see it on the emotes list. Hope this isn't another instance of that.

And I will not lie... when I saw the header "CHARACTER ART", I was *hoping* to see a major graphic update like was done with Wow. After 7-8 years, update the darn graphic engines...

Looking forward to this! I just wish they would make those blasted Kobali ground missions skip-able...

I honestly can't stand the temporal missioons...Na'kuhl and Krenim are so bloody annoying to fight on ground....over and over and over. They do so much more damage now that we have a level boost and no real boosts to player side.

I will admit the new character animation and cutscenes are pretty good, especially the tutorial cutscenes. I would like new character models though

While a UI/character art update would be nice for PC, I doubt its feasible right now. STO's graphic engine is rather dated and doesn't run all that well in some situations. It would take at minimum a full expansions worth of dev work to get such a revamp going. In that time they aren't making money that new content brings.

Its possible we could see such an update being worked on as a side project and its a 'it'll be ready when its ready' sort of deal.

Yes, that was some pretty good stuff. I did chuckle at the "Scooby Doo" eyes our character makes on more than one occasion. Yet, overall, it was a great job with making the animation fresh.

Indeed, Cryptic have been making some good steps in last year or so. There is a lot of features I would love to have, such as changing our transporter and warp out FX on each toon

The transporter effect is one that may be next to impossible to do in the short term, the actual effect is baked into the characters faction so it’s not something that can be changed easily.

Or it could be something as simple as a single line of 'if this/do this' code.
