Yeah something is definitely not working as intended with the Borg tasks. I've been given one to complete a single TFO (ISA i think) and it worked fine but other people couldn't get it to register even after playing 3 different TFO's.

It might be that only a certain mission counts for it?

The other major issue with TFO's being required is that silly Competitive one which asks for 3 to be done at advanced, compared to an elite Borg task asking for only 1.

Easy - Deal 5.000 Tetryon damage (ground) - Done in a foundry endeavor mission
Medium - Deal 20.000 Polaron damage (ground) - Same as above
Hard - Play a competitive queue. None popped in the time I had, so rerolled and got defeat 120 Dewan Arthropods, done on Nimbus

My Hard today was to destroy 18 Destructible torpedoes. Thourne3 was invaluable in giving a tip for this: the Acamar system patrol. When it spawns the Mogai/D'deridex pair, don't attack them, just play aggro-footsie, and when they launch torps, shoot them down. Easy-peasy.

Right!?!? I was thinking that one was gonna be a genuine PITA, but nope! And once I got the 18, General Ghorrin turned to my Medium (do Disruptor Dmg in Space).

Easy - Defeat 10 Hurg Frigates. The opening of the Home mission has enough
Medium - Win 1,000 GPL in a Dabo game
Hard - Heal 18,000 shield - Endeavour foundry on advanced / elite for more damage.

Mine for today are

Easy: Hull healing

Medium: Healing (ground)

Hard: Defeat Tholian ships (30 I think)

I think a couple of TFOs ought to do me just fine, probably specify one as ANRA or The Vault, then rando the rest.

Mine for today were

Easy: Harvest 1 space materials.

Medium: Do Phaser damage (ground).

Hard: Defeat 120 Dewan Arthropods.

I got very lucky in that there was an instance of Nimbus with no one else in it, so I side-stepped the crowds and got 2/3 done in one go (but didn't quite get the all-in-one that 3/7 has above).

Yeah sure the Hive TFO could get the Endeavor done, but that involves a lot of "work"

I found also that playing a carrier and setting pets to "intercept" works well here too. Just sit still and let the pets do the legwork whilst you doff or whatever.
