Well if something is added multiplicatively rather than additively then the result of the former compared to the latter will be quite significantly worse. And unless im mistaken Cat1 at least is added multiplicatively.

The reason we have a category 1 and category 2 is because everything is addictive within the category.

I think giving up a tactical console in favour of the Lorca console is a good trade off. Since I'm with the fleet Gagarin, that still gives me 4 tactical consoles to play with.

Roughly 4% crit and the extra weapon power adds some flexibility in and the severity buff from the 2 piece is hard to ignore. I think the quantum phase torpedo will finally be getting retired after all this time.

You mean the terran rep one. if yes i do use it in my torp build. but mostly i run a EPG/Control heavy torp build. and i hope cryptic listen to feedback we gave and have the dark matter scale with EPG like it should.

Yeah, that EPG scaling would be nice on torps and experimental weapons. That would really create interesting hybrid build variety.

Yeah...I'm kinda surprised about the total lack of EPG support on these weapons, especially the dark matter torp and mycelial lightning...seems like this set is made for cruisers.

Agreed. I was hoping that I would be right and it would be with this lockbox, so you called it. Luckily, I have 4 T6 infinity boxes that I'm saving. I was going to save them to sell and buy the Disco Enterprise, but it no appears I may just be able to use one for her when she's released.

The Boronite Laced Weaponry console also looks like a really nice console for the hybrid science builds out there focusing on control abilities and energy weapons. Not super meta but fun.

Holographic mirage decoy traits will be really useful for hangar pet users. Not really relevant for Vanguard Carriers with Gunboats and the pet stealth trait that comes with the carrier. But for all other builds that dont aggro manage the pets, or for fighter users, that one could really extend their longevity. Providing there isnt a crippling cooldown included in the actual stats.

Space: Unconventional Systems trait can be really nice for the builds that has a lot of abilities tied to consoles.

With the new Lorca stuff and traits and us being able to cross the 30% CrtH on ships, CrtD will become the preferable mod on weapons.
