I think it's a shame you can't buy them separately as I probably would have sunk money into the Crossfield and Soverign. I think Cryptic/PWE are losing a trick on that one if I'm honest

The Sovereign is nice, the Kelvin Connie looks quite good compared to the existing version and if what the buzz about the Defiant is pans out, that gives the pack 3 very solid ships for sure. I'd really rather they offered them up individually as well, as I'm not otherwise fussed on the others.

Now if they ever introduce T7 ships, I think at that point I'm out for the final time.

I couldn't see them being able to do that, they're already at what I would consider the maximum level point they could reach (Fleet Admiral). I think it would be great if they could maybe rework the engine and make it more modern but that's a fanciful dream.

I am loath to admit it, I do agree the Kelvin Constitution does look good.

Not only that but not all ships have even seen a T6 version yet.

Sadly the fact that these ships are limited time availability is a big mistake of Cryptics part. I suspect this is a trial run for future super bundles as Europe is on the verge of banning lootboxes in video games, that would mean Lockboxes and Promo packs will be axed in favour of Bundles or something similar.

This particular pack might not even appear again for a long time and if people miss it now, they might feel stung in the long run.

Probably, because I never used them so far. The Miracle Worker ships I can get my hands on are the ones from the 3-pack and they look so stupid I never bought them. And I'm too poor to get lockbox ships for that. So yeah...

It's a shame really...guess they got to protect us from ourselves? lol

I never saw a problem with lootboxes in f2p games...I mean at least STO has ways to obtain most if not all its stuff without having to spend a dime. It's stuff like with how bungling EA was with Battlefront 2 that really screwed things up...a game you needed to pay for, then progression was at almost a halt unless you bought these boxes.

Nah, it's more specific. There are actually laws in the EU that state that you have to be sure what you get when spending money. Since you can't be sure what you get (and even the chances are not spelled out) the EU is not happy about the concept of lootboxes. It's less protection from ourselves and more the enforcement of their own laws.

Call me crazy, but in spite of the rumors, I'm not seeing a silhouette of anything that looks like Disco-Connie on the advertisement.

Thats because they want to make it a surprise. The silhouettes are odyssey’s to avoid potential spoilers.

All silhouettes not released are an Odyssey ship.

There's definitely an Intrepid and a Crossfield, both of these have been publicly leaked, the Intrepid especially as they accidently made the skin live in the ship vendor. There's a screenshot of the Discovery somewhere earlier on in this thread.

As to the Connies, I'm not giving away anything that's not already known here, but like the Intrepid, the Phase 2 Connie skin from the aborted series in the 70's (this is not an in-game shot) that gave rise to the movies was also accidently made public ion the live server...
