I know you are getting the pack, so there might be a place for it but the Defiant Trait is probably going to be the better choice.

What's your opinion on the traits in the pack, which are must have in your opinion.

The Defiant Trait, the Glenn Trait, and maybe the TOS Connie Trait but I will know once I see the numbers.

The defiant trait is gonna be nuts.. for me thats a permanent 37.5% haste buff.. like YEAH, reaching 40% when I max my crit.chance space endeavor.

The Defiant, Kelvin Connie, Sovereign and TOS Connie are probably the 4 best ships in the pack in my opinion, the Specialization and Seating on them are top notch, The Odyssey Dreadnought is Good Too.

For me the price way ALWAYS way too high. I appreciate some people have more disposable income than me, or are simple able to justify to themselves the costs of this pack in whatever way they chose.
But personally i could never live up paying that much in one go for some pixels; I've simply got way bigger things going on i need the money for, even if over a couple of years i'd maybe spend a similar amount.

I think if i could get these ship individually, there's definitely some that i would get. But that price in one lump sum is just out of reach and always will be.
I'm just sad and concerned that this will become the norm for this game if people all rush out and support this new pricing.
Cryptic will only be concerned with those who do buy the pack, not the multitude who do not and can not.

Given that today was the reveal of the last 2, makes wonder if Cryptic has anything else planned to ensure the packs success sales wise, perhaps some more announcements?

FINALLY!

Although it was almost a forgone conclusion that the last two were the TOS/DISC Constitution there was always the possibility of a bait and switch. The TOS Connie looks pretty decent, but it and the new Donnie aren't as good as their more limited cousins from R&D packs. Still competant ships for sure.

Me, I'm just stoked that I'll finally be able to get the chance to play a top tier TOS Connie. I remember back in the day I did an "Ensign 49" character (when you could level up without getting promoted in ancient times) with the tier 1 TOS Connie, was super hard and the only way to enjoy that timeless design. It'll be epic to use the refit skin on her too, just need to try find some of the undiscovered lockbox TMP style phasers for her!

For me, I'm also getting the new Sovreign and Defiant which will be insane fun to fly, new skin for my Kelvin Connie as well as all the traits etc.

While I absolutely understand peoples reticence with how Cryptic have marketed this bundle, the discounted price (despite it never being on sale before - actually breaches some FTC laws in the US I'm lead to believe?) and how they seem to have refused to split the pack into smaller ones. We have FIVE lock box/lobi/R&D ships in this bundle as account wide purchases. Some aren't quite up to the same insane standard as those versions, however we can still enjoy them and for most players that's what counts. Not everyone is trying to chase DPS leaderboards afterall. While I myself like to feel a sense of progression in the game, I like the potential for a degree of roleplay too. Hence why I kit my ships out with canon weaponry and matching uniforms etc. Heck my TOS character/Boffs have the U.S.S. Constellation badge and uniform ready for her arrival in a few days.

I hope that this is a somewhat successful venture by Cryptic (I'm sure it will be), however I REALLY would like to see the option for smaller packs. Especially in some countries where this bundle is like a 1/3 of a monthly sallary. It would be quite easy to split it between TOS/TNG. The TOS/DSC/Kelvin Connie & Crossfield/NX in one pack, with the Galaxy/Sovreign/Defiant/Intrepid/Oddy in another for example. It would still be expensive but not quite as insane. Or heck, if they're really determined to milk it keep the T6 Connies in the big pack and only offer the TNG ships in the cheaper one.

On a closing note, if this is does well... I REALLY want to see a "Legendary Adversaries" pack or something. D12 BoP, D7 Battlecruiser, Vor'cha, Negh'var, Bortas'qu. Along with a T6 T'liss, D'deridex Warbirds and maybe even a Cardiassian/Dominion ship or two... Keldon for example which was an old lockbox ship or the Galor.

I'm with you on this - lootboxes and expensive skins seem to have taken the place of compelling content or mechanics as a way of making money... With a very few exceptions (Final Fantasy). But I don't claim to be right or smarter than others... just my view.

It would take 3 to 4 years to save up the Zen (from Lifetime) to buy that pack. That's pretty expensive when I look at it that way.

Is that Sovereign included the same as the Vizier one in the market?

They didn't really charge 14k for the t6 sovvy and then shortly after that add it to this anniversary pack with all the other ships for 19.5k?

Another option; Zen is not as expensive for consoles. If you just have to have these ships and don't mind if you're only using them on console and not PC. You can probably get it all for $100 on Xbox. At least you can here in New Zealand. This won't be the best option but it could scratch the itch without breaking your bank.

And even though the pack will go up to 30k for the cheapest on PC. If you grind for it, you'll reach it eventually. I haven't seen them remove any other packs or mega bundles from the c-store so unless they are planning on individually selling them, can't see them removing the pack.

I've heard about this but I can't confirm its existence anywhere. I'm not big on podcasts but the only two I know of that Kael was on is PriorityOne and Nighthawks and neither from what I heard, said this. I heard him say the opening price was limited time. I've been bounding all over reddit, twitter and I can't seem to locate it.

This and that, no other pack before has left the c-store makes me wonder if that's truly how its going to be. I was under the impression only Mudd Market items were allowed to be temporary and it never seems to me that this pack would be in there as its a Anniversary pack, and should be with the others. like Legacy of Romulus, Delta, etc.
