I just picked up an Infinity T6 box. Any thoughts on what I should do with it? I'm a TO, and I sorta like my Andorian escort at the moment. That Iconian carrier looks cool, but I really have no clue, and would hate to waste this on looks alone. I would like something I can build up to hang in the more advanced part of the game.

My choices would be:

- The Atlas Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser, for the DPRM console (unless you are Romulan)
- The Kelvin Constitution Heavy Command Cruiser or the Kelvin Einstein Heavy Destroyer, for flying them.

Something else to consider is searching the Exchange for what is selling for the most EC, and choosing that ship. Then you can sell it and get something else.

If you like zipping around in your Andorian Pilot Escort (and why wouldn't you?), there's no reason you need to burden yourself with a lumbering Carrier, Cruiser, or Space Wizard ship.

But if I HAD to choose one ship for a FEDdie?
The Kelvin Constitution Heavy Command Cruiser (JJprise) from the Special Requisition Choice Pack - Kelvin Divergence Lockbox Ship Pack. Then, when the Special Event finishes, I would take the 1,000 Lobi Crystals and pick up a Vengeance to go with it. In fact, I have done that on one toon. See, if you have them both, you can cross their materials. Put the Vengeance material on the Connie and the Connie material on the Vengeance. Plus there's the console synergy.

But that's just me. And I have been known to be stupid about ships. Often. I mean, I DO fly a Romulan Science Pilot Escort. 🤪🤪🤪

Herald Vonph carrier?
It is cool, I have the set and the Herald Quas was my favourite ship for a long time. Both Quas and Vonph can use the Baltim hangar pets if you get that ship too. I definitely would not suggest using an Infinity T6 token to get a Vonph though. Last time i looked, they'd dropped to the usual T6 price on the exchange of around 200mil. If you really want one, I'd recommend picking something more expensive and selling it; then buy the Vonph carrier and Baltm Raider.

Einstein and D7 are both good picks if you want credits (are these still 800mil+ on exchange?).

Alternatively, get the Atlas if you are a Fed player (and use Phaser, Dis, Plasma); that console exceptional.

I am into DPS. I just look at that, and it appears to be a beam boat. Everything I have so far is focused on cannons. I may have to grind a lot more, now.

is the +40% Bonus damage only beams?

It's not limited to beams; cannons are also benefit from it.

But what he’s saying is that the ship itself it’s mainly a beam ship. So having played a lot with cannons they might not be comfy with that change.
The console is surely nice and considered essential by many but does it justify the price of a ship token just for a console? Harder to answer for each person.
Me personally, I dislike buying just for traits or consoles as I think the ship itself should be worthy of my resources as well. No console on its own is worth the price of a whole ship no matter how good it might be.

But that’s my personal opinion.

Regarding ships from that infinity pack I’d personally go with the Vaadwaur Manasa if you like escorts that are fast and work well with cannons. The traits also activated off cannons to so there’s that.

OK, I have the ship box, but I have not unpacked it. I think I will load it to my original Lecivius, another TO. I have 3 pulse phasers, I'll see about getting some more, and grind out some pieces for it before I unpack it. I foresee another few moths of grinding in my future.
