New promo ship dropped... I'm guessing this is Riker's ship but tbh I haven't watched "Picard" yet... of course I'm not surprised it is a promo ship... one no one will be able to grasp without dumping money into R&D boxes 👀

I have a promo box sitting in my bank, but I'm not going to bother opening it for this ship, while it looks nice it should have been c-store.

I think having the console tied into 2 other ships that are so freely available is a bit of a kick in the teeth on top of it being a vessel that would be neither unique, rare or considered a hero ship.

Looking at the ship stats, I'd say the Gagarin is better and a hell of a lot easier (to say nothing of considerably cheaper) to get hold of.

They really missed the mark on this one. Given the negative reception this ship unveil got with Star Trek: Picard itself, they should have just threw this into the c-store, or better yet just make it the reward for event 43672 for this year (I've really lost track with all these back-to-back events...). It is just the Arbiter/Avenger, only slightly slower and tankier. From a Space Barbie standpoint, it doesn't look bad necessarily, but it doesn't look like something that would stand out in a crowd at ESD either. The console and trait look like they'd be ok, but they look like they'd be more geared towards tank-building than anything.

In short, this looks like "the promo box prize you think about when you already opened all the other promo box prizes".

About the only thing I can say is it's better than the Franklin or Mirror Crossfield...and that isn't saying much

Well it didn't take long for peeps to start kitbashing existing ship parts to make their own version of the "Inquiry" probably for the same reasons that they'll never get a ship like that and it is similar in design to existing space barbie parts.

That is not entirely true...
It's a 12 year old design (and variants of it) by John Eaves.

I'm not following your post, I simply referred to players making their own version of the ship because they'll most likely not be able to obtain a promo ship that is behind a big paywall.

If it is part of a 3 piece, I'm not going to be surprised if there isn't a different pack version sold down the road for this with that in that pack. So expect a 3 pack ship thing coming soon, I'd bet.

Edit: Not too soon though to meddle with this. Just this first, then the 3 pack after that.

He probably threw it in his pizza oven when he got back home. That part about it being the "toughest, fastest, most powerful ship" was probably one of Riker's infamous bluffs. It honestly looked kinda puny onscreen in the show.
