In fact, I don't care much about the design of this starship. After seeing so many abandoned designs of Excelsior class, I think it's OK to design anything. I just hope that the new Excelsior class doesn't have eight engineering seats like the Resolute class, otherwise I will never buy this starship.

I can't make my mind up if I love or hate the design. I think this one is going to be a very marmite look and it's up to whatever seating it has to make or break it as that's the major problem with the T6 Excelsior.

If I buy this ship, it's going to depend entirely on its layout - especially the BOFF seating as has previously been stated. In terms of skin, if you don't like the Resolute style, you can just use either the original or refit Excelsior skins, which are pretty decent anyway.

I do however fear what Sul-Matuul said, which is that this'll be part of some bundle that costs more than the standard 3k ZEN.

In my opinion, the probability that this starship will become a part of the bundle is very high. If this is really a Legendary starship, at best, it will be sold as 6000zen as the Legendary Dreadnought Cruiser.

I loved Shattered Universe, but one of the trek games near and dear to my heart is Star Trek: Invasion on the PS1

I don't know if it's disdain....it's just a massive hassle trying to get any other studios works into STO. Takes a lot of time any money and in the end it's probably not worth it. But I mean since it's a idea and it's not really using any major assets from the game (could you copyright giving a ship fighters that it normally wouldn't have? Plus you'd think Terrans would be aggressive enough and deploy fighters)

I don't know...just something that popped in my head since I've seen the game being mentioned a couple times this week.
