This is still a work in progress being on the new KDF recruit, started with the recruit starter Bop then moved to the Fleet T6 i am alternating between Zhat Vash Disruptors with the same mods as the and the Sensor Linked and i am getting more or less identical results with both hitting 80k on average in ISA running in the Recruit version the Bop you will probably loose 5-10k DPS with this current build.

Since change Hitting 80-125k in ISA and 1st test in ISE got 132k

Are the photonic scientist doffs for reducing the CD for PO2? I had understood that after changing PO the doffs only affect the photonic shockwave.

Sorry Jester but Dacor is right the only thing that still reduces PO is the Starship Trait.

Having just tested it in game with doffs slotted and not slotted they are working still so Wiki is wrong on that one i would say

Sorry Jester but Dacor is right the only thing that still reduces PO is the Starship Trait.

Have to look into it more then as my cool down when slotted reduced to when not maybe bugged at the mo and just lucky its only a temp option either way till i get Purple Techs from B'Trans and then swapping to Aux2Bat

24 seconds when no photonic studies doffs are slotted 10 seconds reduced to 14 seconds recharge when they are so

went to read Feb 19 patch notes and the Photonic doff states

Updates to Photonic Officer:

Photonic Officer now lasts 20 seconds, and has a 30 second cooldown.
Photonic Officer now reduces the cooldown of bridge officer abilities by 2%, 3%, or 4% per second while active.

So its not 20% anymore but you are defiantly getting some reduction using them over not that or as i say its bugged for me.

From what i could tell .. Photonic Officer is locked at 30s , and cant be reduced ...

Which is why it is so annoying the Improved trait is locked behind a lobi ship...

Yeah its not the PO 30 seconds that i am referring to to its the 3% reduction to bridge officer abilities meaning all other abilities are reduced but not PO itself the fact that say CRF reduces 10 seconds quicker with PO tells me that the 3% may be working on other abilities just not reducing the PO itself that's locked at 30

Build Updated and changed made with Draco and Bridger's comments on PO changes have improved overall DPS to 125k ISA from 85k also on 1st run

If you have access to the trait The Ruin of Our Enemies, that’ll help offset the cooldown costs when you kill something using PO. I’m not sure if the trait affects the base c/d of PO but I suspect not.
