I believe it was related to the where TOS characters could get T6 reps whilst staying in the 23rd century as they had access to random TFOs, admiralty and crafting thus could get all the requirements without needing to actually progress the character. There was a similar thing with unaligned romulans.

EDIT: When I saw changes to the 21 bundle.. I was like :OOOOOO B'REL UPDATE?!! But nope just more inflation to justify 18K zen xD

Still on the fence, part of my is hoping they have one or two surprise ships they will add at the end, maybe a Negh'var or D7 and a an Oberth or Rhode Island.

It feels like that would be a disadvantage for unaligned Romulans...because they wouldn't have access to their chosen factions ships, but will they now since everything is open to everyone? Maybe that's why they decided to stop it?

Gonna take more than 500 lobi to make that pack look appealing...maybe 2000 and the BoP a 5/1 would make it a little more appealing.

Some of them were being able to buy space abilities from TOS era/ Disco era toons (some of which have unique aesthetics) and giving them to your other mains via account banks. The problem was new characters lacked EC, so you'd have to keep your characters in said era and farm resources and EC to get the EC to buy the high end abilities from the vendors (or even just keep them parked in said era and withdraw EC from account bank). I think over the years they made these character bind perhaps, because once you transition out of said eras and into the main game era, only way to get these are via dilithium afaik.

That's just what I know tbh. Could be there were other serious exploits.

Other than this though, I don't know what else. And I am curious how they plan to execute this - because if they plan to take away the era specific maps entirely, that'd be a huge blow imo.

You know, I'm quite glad I'm not the only one who was confused. It makes me feel so much less like an idiot than normal. XD

That being said; what I'd REALLY like them to fix is the continuous ongoing issue of "Connection Timeouts" when map-changing. I can absolutely guarentee that I will have a timeout when shifting maps during an episode or when loading a TFO. It gets on my nerves!
