I'm not too sure that's true, as when I check the Gamepass app, it's still showing the 8th of December for the MP release date.

The latest rumour I've heard is that 343 did intend to launch it as a surprise today but there was an 11th hour delay in the form of a glitch they had to throw a lot of manpower and time at to fix over the weekend.

There's a slim chance it may still appear as folks have been reporting updates coming through.

That would be kinda cool if it does happen especially as we're in the 20th anniversary and it'd be a nice thing for the fans

I never got a chance to play any of the flights, don't get me wrong I love a good Slayer match but for me Halo is all about that sweet Campaign and ofc Forge

Played a few matches last night, really enjoyed it but my old skills are super rusty and the muscle memory keeps betraying me so it's going to take me a bit of time to get back to something even remotely resembling good again. Been some time since I last played a competitive shooter.

100% agree, it feels like Halo and while it has glaring issues and some input lag, it feels very polished I’ve gotta give 343i credit here. The Academy is a great addition to the game! Can’t go wrong with a firing range to practice

The most glaring issue for me is the progression system for the battle pass. There doesn't appear to be per match XP like previous titles had so you're essentially dependent on the challenges.

I JUST noticed this. which now makes the whole "battle pass doesn't expire" make sense

I feel like they nailed Progression in MCC. TONS of cosmetic seasonal items that can be gotten at anytime, you are rewarded with challenge xp and just for playing matches/performing well..

I’m not a huge fan of battlepasses but I can see why they went through route with Infinite especially since the MP is F2P, but right now the biggest complaint is the experience and progression system.
