I stayed on after that and bagged 2 more levels as I managed to shift the ravager challenge - it's a horrible weapon and difficult to get a straight kill with it - and that opened up kill 50 Spartans in Fiesta to gain all 7 levels in the event this time around. Got to drive a wraith and man the scorpion turret as well, more firsts for me.

Moving on, 343 have made some more changes to address progression, there will now be increased XP for the first 6 matches you play each day as follows:

1st Game: 300XP
2nd Game: 200XP
3rd Game: 200XP
4th Game: 100XP
5th Game: 100XP
6th Game: 100XP
7th+ Game: 50XP

So this means if you're pushed for time, challenges are kicking your backside or both, you can earn 1 battle pass level a day just by playing normally, or 2 levels if you kick in an XP booster.

That's good, I've been having trouble just playing in general (not diffuculty, more personal issues), so this is a welcome change for sure, means I'll eventually get more stuff from the BP hehe

I was looking forward to the campaign next week until I found it the co-op isn't being released at the same time.

I think that's a huge faux pas on 343's part, as Halo has always been a game to share rather than play alone

Very much this, this should have been in the game Day 1. Latest estimates is March 2022 before we see it. Well in Season 2, by then the wonder of the campaign will have worn off

It's actually May 22 they currently have for the co-op release and the start of Season 2, which I think may be Reach themed, but don't quote me on that.

Word is that Forge Mode won't be available until Season 3, which would put it around mid-August as Season 2 should revert to the original 3 month timeline.

Season 1 is Reach themed, Noble Team =P

Yes... and the rumour was that Season 2 will also be Reach themed. But we'll see.

The reviews for the campaign mode are all flooding out now. The buzz seems to be that it's good, though a lot of the reviews are filled with spoilers (some of which don't even warn you) so approach them with caution. I'm dodging them to make sure the story stays fresh.

Thanks for the heads up on that one Petrarch it's a shame when a review puts out spoilers, even before something is released.
