Not a bad episode good to see Worf even if only briefly guess my hopes from last week over not being drip fed the characters is not happening

I enjoyed the episode, however I've never been a fan of Raffi. Her paranoia and ex addict personality I find grating.

Overall another good episode, but I'm kind of on the fence about Raffi's story arc so far too. So far it feels like the character growth they showed for her over the first 2 seasons has been undone and she's back into a self-destructive spiral, but I'm remaining cautiously optimistic that bringing Worf into the picture will be a bit of a pivot point and move her development forward again. As the "B plot" for the series so far, there is still a lot of runway for it to develop.

It was good to see Worf in action again, but I'll admit that all of the Raffi scenes leading up to his return were just torture. I kept finding myself wanting to skip her scenes and get back to the Titan.

It looks like the Admiral and his former CMO have a lot to discuss.

Its nice to see that the Picard dynasty doesn’t end with Jean Luc. I can see this serving to set up a new series with the next generation of Picard(s)

The reveal really bugs me the more I think about it. As a father i would be pissed if an ex hid the fact I had a child for 20 years, you cant get that time back. Then she also goes and names him after her dead ex husband?!?

If this is ultimately how it plays out, I will have zero respect for what she did to Jean-Luc.

I’ve watched. Titan A storyline is great and I am thoroughly enjoying my annoyance at Captain Shaw. Seven is done very well and I am looking forward to seeing how that ends up. Surprised they didn’t escape back to Fed space at the end and have this first encounter going into the next edited but it hasn’t got old yet.
I’m undecided on Raffi so far. It’s hard to separate what’s real and what’s acting. Also why was she saying she was with Starfleet intelligence so out in the open that seemed weird to me. Nice to see Worf again and hope he appears a bit more now he’s in person and not text in a screen. Will have to see how that plays out.

One small fact I’ve noticed is that crew complement if the Titan A is 500ish. Either this ship is much smaller than I thought or it’s a lot more automated than I would guess. I don’t have much to go on just know the Enterprise D had a usually minimum of 1000. Seems busy enough so I suppose it works. Starfleet ships just always seem to have small crew complements and the Titan A especially.

And yet, both actors said more with just a few glances than pages of dialogue could have done. Superb acting and very well handled.

Raffi is getting the short end of the plot stick this season so far but, to me, she seems a bit harshly judged. She's right to be paranoid because someone IS out to start a war and nobody was listening to her concerns. She was offered a chance to fall off the wagon, which she reluctantly does because she needs to continue with her quest. Ultimately, Worf as her handler was an asshat. One face to face meeting could have averted all of her fears and guided her onto the right path, especially since he was right there the whole time. Bad form, Captain Worf, bad form.

It's painful to watch them bounce Raffi off as many walls as they can dream up. It's like they want to make some noble statement about addiction, but can't really decide what they want to say.
