Commander Una faces court-martial along with possible imprisonment and dishonourable dismissal from Starfleet, and her defence is in the hands of a lawyer who’s also a childhood friend with whom she had a terrible falling out.

I have only one comment about this episode.
This has immediately become one of my favorite episodes in all of Star Trek.

This episode was fantastic, the music and the general feel of the episode was so good!

I loved this episode. I'm normally not that into Courtroom drama, but this... this is what Trek is supposed to be. The "modern Trek is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wokeism crap!" crowd can go suck it.

Quite possibly one of the best episodes of nu-trek that I've seen. I don't know how much Kurtzman is involved with SNW if at all. But from what I've noticed, the further away he is, the better the shows tend to be.
Just my observation. Not meant to kick up a hornets nest.

Really enjoyed this episode. A great feel throughout and lots of intrigue over everyone's plans on how to free Una. The final plan worked pretty well and I do like how they ended it with one law vs another.

I loved this episode from start to finish. I was a bit worried when Admiral April was being interrogated on the stand, wondering what good was going to come of that. The twist at the end justified, in my mind, Neera's approach when she went after April. It was a clear way to instill concern and fear that Una was not going to come out of the courtroom with her career intact. The acting by all involved was fantastic, even the crew that didn't have major roles to sell the emotion of what they were experiencing as friends and crewmates. I admit, I was getting a bit emotional watching it all unfold. It hit the right cords for what Trek is all about and what society should strive to be.
I also loved how Una retained her career, but left the genetic modification issue open ended. Especially since it became an issue for Bashir when DS9 approached it all those years later (canon wise).

It was an attempt to bring the old trek style of episode back. Moral, ethical, philosophical debates involving law. A good episode, not as good as old trek, but still very good.
